Apartment was wonderful, hence score of 10 out of 10. Downsides are nitpicks. There is a Thai massage parlour next door. Nothing owner can do about that! Bedroom looks out on an overgrown tiny yard, again not really a problem.

Fantastic location. A few steps away from the Norled Ferry terminal to the fjords and the best viewpoint for photos of Bryggen across the harbour. The fish market is at the end of the same harbour and about 5 minutes walk. Supermarket and bakery 2 mins walk, just at the bottom of the road to the left. Center of town with Kode museums, shops, parks and start point for tram #1 (Bybanen) to airport 10 minutes walk away. Great choice of restaurants and bars all close by too. Apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer. Would be fine for a longer stay as well as a short stay. Communication with host was easy via Booking.com messages. The cleaning lady is a star. She welcomed us to the apartment and also came to say goodbye at the end, as she let us leave our bags there until 3. This saved us putting them in the lockers at the ferry terminal or station (station 10 -15 mins away). Sofa bed was comfortable according to our daughter. The 2 armchairs looks at though they turn into single sofa beds too. Bathroom and shower were great too.

One of the heater was not working, but the temperature in the flat was still optimal even in cold weather.

Perfect location. Happy about the cleanliness and coziness of the house. And the flat is spacious. The flat was warm even in cold weather. The host was nice with timely response to my questions.

Excellent location. Easy 2 min walk to catch boat cruises for fyord tours.Centrally located so easy walk to catch all the sights and light rail to airport and cable car ride up the mountain.We had nice waterviews from our room. Happy to recommend

For clarity, there is no 24 hour reception (as detailed in booking.) but key box/PIN/key and self entry. That’s fine in daylight, but our arrival at midnight with grim weather made keybox opening difficult. Make sure you have a flashlight to enter the PIN. The communal front entrance needs cleaning of cigarette butts and weeds.

The modest apartment is part of a converted house in a quaint terrace of housing. The apartment is spacious for two persons but the decor a bit bland. A full kitchen area. Definitely a great location for tourist sightseeing. The waterfront, ferries, fish market, city centre, funicular railway, Bryggen are all within easy walking distance. Supermarket and bakers round the corner.

Car parking was an added expense but was worth it to stay in the location.

Location was great, close to everything we wanted. Beautiful view from front window. Loved that there was washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, soap etc - a really helpful bonus ! Beds were really comfortable and Netflix was fab.

Bedroom window view is rather average ;). Couple of cheap toys would make big difference to kids experience.

Bergens Best Location provides truly excellent location: 5 min walk from fish market, boat trips, 10 min from Floibanen. Apartament is big enough for 2+2 family, cosy and very well equiped with all kinds of household appliances, with decent front window view. Also a good contact with owners is worthy noting.

Loved it all

One of the best. The location is superb. Extremely close to everything but very quiet. View down to the harbour from the city side, looks across to Bryggen, which is much touristy. Supermarket and restaurants close by. Ferry stop about 200m, use to see the harbour for a fraction of a tour cost.

The design of the shower meant that water sprayed out onto the floor. We were worried that it would damage the residence over time, and worked to dry it as much as possible after use.

The keys were in a lockbox that worked without issue. We arrived early, as we misunderstood the arrival window, however the host was understanding and allowed us to put our bags in the apartment before our check-in time.
