The luggages room was not very clean and secured.

The common spaces and the services were amazing. It was very cool to have the breakfast included. The rooms were very clean and fonctional.

The refund policy is very strict so make sure to book refundable rates if still unsure of travel plans. The pillows were too thin for comfort. And wifi - have to connect multiple hotspots and speed is also slow.

Breakfast and view of Bergen from the top is very nice. Staff is friendly and price for the room was relatively good too.

Breakfast was ok, sufficient, nothing special. Nice view though. I arrived late and the reception was still open. For me this was very convenient. I may come again when I'm traveling for work.

The hostel is on a hill with steep slopes, you need to rely on bus to go up there. If you are travelling early or late the bus is less frequent. Need to pay deposit NOK200 to borrow hair dryer. I used card instead of cash, the deposit was taken immediately from the bank but the refund took 5 days.

You need to either bring your own sheets and towels or pay for renting them from the reception which was a small disadvantage and not so convenient.

Very basic room for two but happy to have our own shower and bathroom. Quiet at night time. Great breakfast buffet included in the price of the stay. Nice view over the city from the restaurant with some cute goats walking around. Not a central location but walking distance from the city center (about 3 km). Nice and helpful staff.

the private room is old and toilet floor creates a little flood when you bath. I was disappointed that shared rooms are better than the private room. the price is not that cheap also for a private room.

Great price for Bergen with great views towards the city. Our room was quite small but it was comfortable enough. There is a direct bust to the city that runs every 10-20 min approx. It takes around 20 min and it cost about 40 nok. There is kitchen in the hostel so you can cook your own food. There is also a restaurant but it is slow and expensive (it´s Norway you know...).

The hostel is not at all close to the city centre, but it is easily reachable with a bus. The location is beautiful, nice views of Bergen and close to hiking spots. Hostel offers all facilities needed, everything was clean. Breakfast is amazing, with many options, including vegan and gluten free.

Because this hostel is very good in every aspect, it’s quite popular and it’s almost impossible to find a sitting place in the morning during breakfast, that’s why not 9/10

Location is a bit far from the city, but from there you can take a hike to Ulriken and this is wonderful. There’s a market very near, you can buy products to cook yourself. Speaking of cooking, the kitchen is quite spacious, there’re several big tables, may be for 6-8 people each. In total 6 fridges, but always full. Dishwasher available, tho I didn’t use it. The hostel has laundry room, gym, luggage room, nice vantage point, common area. The room itself was just enough for me, the bathroom was in the room, water pressure just washes everything out, water sink small for me. I liked the idea of beds to be attached to the wall and it features nice removable ladder. Window view is beautiful as well. Staff was very helpful and nice people, they do their best so nothing can spoil your experience, except…

They charge you 70 nok for bedsheets and a towel, ridiculous as they should just include this in the original price. The food in the restaurant is bad, I ordered a pizza for 169 nok that took an hour to make and was not very nice at all.

Really clean, the bathrooms are in the room so you share them with less people, substantial kitchen and great view of Bergen. The hostel also runs activities every day which is a great way to meet people!

Everything is perfect except unstable Wi-Fi connection. Sometimes I need to go to another area for better Wi-Fi.

While it is advertised for backpackers and shared dorms, it is much better than youth-summer-camp kind of experience. Bed is comfortable, shower is good, breakfast is included, hospitable staffs etc. There is a guest kitchen so that people can cook or microwave food for themselves, which is impossible in normal hotels.

Price for a dorm bed is ridiculously expensive and you also have to pay extra for bed linen when checking in. Given the price this felt unecessary,

The bedroom was quite small. There wasn't any outdoor space for children to play in.

The BBQ and breakfast were both excellent - quality and quantity. The yoga class was nice. We liked the coffee and cookies and table football.
