The bed was not comfortable for me, but my husband was fine with it.

Beautiful location below a waterfall with impressive views. Cabin was cozy and warm. Cellular and WiFi was good.

The drapes are not lowlight proof. Too mach furniture in a small place.

It wasn’t super clear where you have to check-in to the hotel (it’s at the kafeteria), nor that you needn’t pay for parking. We moved our car to a underpass area for guests that’s hidden from view - but once we found out and were given a refund no problem.

Obviously you can’t get closer to the glacier! The room was a little dated but spacious, clean and comfortable. The waterfall creates a kind of white noise and I slept so well. Despite being very busy with visitors in their coach-load during the day, the site becomes very quiet in the evening and it feels like you have much of the facility to yourself!

There is common kitchen for guests, it was very dirty, old food in the refrigerator. The parking lot is also not maintained, with huge garbage storage in the entrance

The room was clean but it didn’t feel clean. The floor felt really gritty and I had to wear socks the whole time. Keep in mind that these are more like guest rooms in an isolated area than a proper hotel, so there’s really limited options for dining or other amenities.

The location is amazing! The rooms overlook a rushing river and you’re in walking distance to a waterfall and glacier. There’s a covered outdoor area with a fireplace that’s perfect for hanging out after a busy day of sightseeing.

The restaurant prices to eat in the evening are crazy. We asked for the room to be cleaned as it didn't feel so (floor felt dirty, soap at sink empty)

Was located right where the walk to Briksdalsbre glacier starts which was a plus for us. Room was a good size and so was bathroom. Garage right outside the rooms which was very convenient when raining.

Studio a bit overcrowded with unnecessary chairs and tea tables. Cleaning needs to be more precise, there was a lot of dust under and on chairs. Potholders need to be washed.

Nice location in beautiful nature area, mounting river and waterfall are accompanying the stay. In fact the house is located in Camping Melkevoll, which is approx 500 m down from the google label. Free parking is available behind the house. The Studio equipped with minimal necessary kitchenware.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is situated in an area of outstanding beauty. Set in the mountains it is very peaceful and quiet and ideal for walks with outstanding views!

Sofa bed was not very comfy to sleep, but ok

We lived in a cabin, which is in isolated and great location, with glacier and waterfalls at the view. Cabin is very cozy, has everything you need.

Rooms are very dated.

Location was great being as close to the glacier as you can get. Restaurant and gift shop are on-site. Very friendly and helpful staff and the rooms were very clean despite being dated.

loads of tour busses arrive during the day and mobs of people from cruise ships go up to see the glacier. if you stay the night, take the first troll car up, and you’ll beat the crowd!

It’s right at the foot of Briksdalbre glacier. the surroundings are beautiful. no one seems to stay the night, so the evenings are calm and quiet.

The kitchen could have had either a towel and/or paper towels.

A very cozy and private cabin in a wonderful location. The view around the house is fantastic. The cottage itself is comfortable, cozy and clean. Ideal for a vacation for two people. Parking right next to the house, wifi connection very good. Would have loved to stay longer if possible.
