The sink in my bathroom was clogged and the breakfast buffet is very meat and dairy heavy. As a - usually - vegan I couldn’t eat much.

The room was airy and clean, the service friendly.

I didn't like that the sauna was not included. In all other hotels in Norway (I have been visiting every winter for 20 years) the sauna is part of the room deal. Also that you then charged per person when even with one person you are using the same amount of electricity. I would have found it more acceptable if you charged only 150 NOK for a session - NOT per person. ALSO we received many repeat emails from the hotel asking about verifying our credit card, these arrived daily but when we mailed you we were told everything was in order. Also we received many other emails asking about various things. One other client at the reception was asked to find the email with the door code and she replied "I have so many emails from you in the last few days that I do not know which one it is" so perhaps less emails please?

The breakfast the first time we stayed was a little 'tired' with salads congealed and no fruit, but the second time there was a conference in the hotel and the breakfast was excellent with lots of fruits, scrambled eggs, etc

We didn’t know there was a club in the basement and on one night we were kept up until 3am by loud music and people outside being loud.

The location was central and easy to get to from the airport and to get to our activities in Alta. The breakfast buffet was amazing - it had lots of great options, and the dinner was good too with varied drinks options. The room was lovely, we really liked the decor and the bed was very comfy.

I'm not a fan of shower curtains and the shower curtain at this hotel is no exception. I did not like having to fight a wet curtain while trying to take a shower in a very small space.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious enough for both our suitcases to be opened (on the floor) at a time, while leaving space to move around the room. The included breakfast had a good selection of foods and was very tasty.

The heater sometimes regulated itself even when I adjusted it. Plus a bit of construction was going on in one of the rooms when I visited.

The breakfast buffet was amazing and had a diversity of very good options to choose from. The room was also more spacious than expected. The sofa was a good add-on in the room and the cozy armchair.

Our room was more spacious than it appeared in the photos. Provision of caffeine free herbal tea bags in the room. Lovely friendly helpful staff. The code access for the exterior front door, and the room code, were both easy to use and came with clear instructions. It was easy to chat to staff in the bar next door to the entrance lobby.

Everything was great!

Everything was excellent. The room has everything we needed and it was very comfortable. The location is magnificent, right in the town centre. Breakfast is ok, could have had more things, but it is ok.

When completed there will be restaurant, bar, club etc. The smart tv was initially a challenge.

Breakfast was really good, although pending pending completion of extensions it was at an adjacent building. The hotel is really central in the town, and easily found and at the hub of facilities in town. Wellness centre including yoga, sauna was a bonus.

The hotel was under renovation while I was there, so it was some construction work and noises. Also it was some noise from the street.
