The bed was a bit small and not the most comfortable.

Great location within Oslo. The single bedroom was perfect for me. It was a bit small but for the price, was well worth it. The bathroom was of a reasonable size. Easy check-in and out service. There is a common room with a tv and games area.

The elevator is both slow and way too small ... we had to wait for up to 5 minutes for it to come and then it was all "Tetris" with up to eight people plus luggage. The walls are very thin, you can basically hear the neighbors snore, all is built very "american". On one side of the bed the mansard was so close and narrow, you had to duck to not run right into the wall edge. Some wall spots and details were a bit "used" (especially in the bathroom), but it's ok for one night. I'd not recommend it for romantic couples, as it has more like a "Hostel" vibe to it (the Hotel type, not the movie lol).

The location is excellent, both convenient for the Oslo S station, as for sights like Akershus Fortress, Opera, Munch Museum, Royal Palace and so on. Check In is easy, the neighborhood has some nice bakeries and cafes, especially the "Spor Av Nord" is fine, good breakfast buffet with a discount for Citybox guests! We could leave our luggage in the luggage room after we checked out. There's staff there if you neeed it and they are very helpful.

Citybox is really at centre of Oslo, close to Central Station, and Oslo busterminal, and other public transport, less than 1 mile, from Aker Brygge, and all other historical places, everything inside Citybox was clean, secure, safe and quite, very tasty breakfast served at Rent Mel pizzeria,

The kitchen has only basic equipment (kettle and microwave), so it's not ideal for longer stays if you don't want to eat out every day. But it's definitely enough for a quick visit to Oslo.

Excellent location, a 5-min walk from the Opera house and the train station. Easy to check in and out. Nice and spacious common areas. The rooms are not very big, but clean, quiet and comfortable. I know there were people staying next to me, but couldn't hear them at all (which of course was a good thing). Perfect for a short stay.

The room was small as stated. It was clean and the bed with 2 pillows very comfortable. It was as advertised and met our expectations. The facilities in the complex allowed clients plenty of space to sit, eat, relax.

The lift button from my floor wasn’t working, so had to take the stairs every time we left. Also would’ve been great if there was a leaflet or guide in our room for when we arrived to tell us about the hotels facilities. I felt we would’ve got that if there wasn’t self service check in

Nice little restaurant on ground-floor opens at 7:30, long after many travelers need to be gone. Not major, but an inconvenience.

I only had two issues with my stay - the WiFi did cut off a few times, and I had to reconnect. I also noticed that the heating in my room was quite low, even when set to full, which was ok for my trip but any colder it would have been a problem. Additionally, a lot of the rooms do overlook busy roads with trams etc, I can confirm other people’s complaints that it was a bit noisier than usual but I found the sounds of trams to actually be relaxing. It’s also very “independent” in the sense that unless you seek them out, you really don’t need to encounter any staff while here (again, not an issue for me and found them when needed) but appreciate others may want more than a screen on check in.

I enjoyed my stay overall. The location and cost were very good, and the shared facilities were of a good standard. Room was a good size for a single traveller, and I say this as a bigger guy, so imagine for others it’d be even better. Was ideal for a weekend in the city as a tourist. The staff were very accommodating when I asked them to keep my room on until past check out time too.
