room was kind of small. shower was weird, it basically flooded the the bathroom so we put towels down to block it.

great location for a reasonable price. super helpful staff and bar staff. great view! breakfast was pretty good.

No air-conditioning. We stayed for 3 nights (29/07-01/08) in room 503, and it was quite hot inside.

Attitude of one of the receptionists.

Room was OK. But first they gave us a room with very partial bay view while we were promised a room with full harbour view. Only later, after somewhat uncomfortable exchange of words, the room was changed. Breakfast was very good. Location was excellent.

It would be perfect if there was no discrepancy between booking a room and checking in.

The location is on the edge of the pier, 1 minute walk is the fish market. The staff helped with the room issues, thank you very much.

Location excellent for exploring Bergen and lovely to be so close to the harbour. Fabulous breakfast.

Breakfast was not relaxing. I think the staff should ensure guests follow the one direction in the buffet etc as they don’t follow the arrows on the floor and it felt very crowded and busy

We couldn't sit in the restaurant area for a drink when it was open; so couldn't enjoy view (we did find we could go outside though!)

Great buffet breakfast, lovely view across the harbour. Loved the lounge/bar area - lots of places to sit, free tea/coffee. Room was a good size and beds comfy. Really close to fish market and easy to walk to key areas.

Great location for site seeing in the Bergen City Center. Breakfast buffet was outstanding with outdoor harbor seating. The lobby was large and comfortable

Room was cramped. Bathroom was also very small. Someone entered room when we were gone breaking a glass and leaving glass on floor.

the bathroom had no where to hang clothes or towels . The shower door wouldn't keep water it would leak everywhere in bathroom floor .

Rooms simply weird. Overstuffed with furniture, all walls covered in grey drapery, funereal in feeling. Whatever happened to Nordic minimalism in interior design?

The breakfast opens at 7am weekdays, and it was often overwhelmed by huge groups. We stayed 6 nights and skipped breakfast one day because it was a day when they opened at 8am, and it was simply too crowded to move. in the room, I washed the windows because they were really filthy. Then we enjoyed a wonderful view.

Great location and view of the Harbour (we had a Harbour view). Staff is five-star. Sitting areas in the lobby were relaxing. The restaurant meals and staff were the best. be sure to make a reservation.

We got a standard double room so we weren't expecting a magnificent view, and that was realistic of us. The windows faced the windows of the hotel next door. Nothing else was visible. We couldn't keep the curtains open and have strong confidence in our privacy. This isn't really a complaint. We assumed the rooms with views of the water would be higher rate rooms. Lots of reviews mention a free upgrade to a room with a view. I'm sure the hotel does this whenever it isn't full of guests. It certainly feels that friendly. It was busy when we were there.

Boutique hotel with helpful, welcoming staff and great food. Nice, clean, quiet room with comfortable bed. The location couldn't be better for a tourist in town to see the sites. Everything we wanted to see and do was a convenient walk from the hotel. Check in is at 3:00 but we arrived around 1:30 after taking the train from Oslo and they were able to get us right in, which was lovely after a 6 plus hour train ride. I enjoy staying at hotels that feature an artsy style concept and this one has that.
