How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Astonishing range of food & drink for breakfast served from 4.00 am, and they are now serving basic dinners. Only minutes from the Airport terminal. The 420 bus is a much cheaper alternative than the shuttle to and from the airport.

I was missing a water boiler and cafe/te in the room.
Breakfast was good! Close and easy access to the airport. Nice sauna and fitness room.

The back wall in my room looked tired. It could definitely do with a refurbishment. The mattress wasn’t so comfortable as it curled up at the edges. The double bed had two single duvets, so had to use both.
The room was very clean. The staff were very helpful and professional. Good shuttle service to the airport Excellent breakfast selection Very good value for money

No evening on site restaurant facilities, but can use Clarion next door in walking distance. The small selection of snacks in the bar, could do with having more stock, was empty by early evening. For price you pay for hotel not a major issue, just come prepared.
Great value for money and for price and location it was just what I was after. Really comfortable beds and amazing breakfast. Reception and breakfast staff were attentive, efficient and very nice. 12:00 midday check-out as standard was a bonus.

Paying for car parking when due to the amount of snow, it would have been impossible for anyone to see the tickets!!!
Perfect location and great hotel for bridging the gap at Oslo Airport. Would have enjoyed a swimming pool, but a great sauna made up for that.

We had assumed we could get something simple to eat once we arrived, but unfortunately the only hot food they provide is pizza, and they’d sold out. They helpfully told us of another replace we could eat, in a nearby hotel, but after waiting 15 minutes to get in we gave up, and resorted to our emergency back-up of freeze-dried camping meals! I think they could make extra cash by providing better catering, as you’re stuck at the airport and there’s no real options for eating. A kettle in the room would be useful, too, although tea and coffee is available all the time in the foyer.
We were just 5-10 minutes from the terminal and there was a regular shuttle service (but only 2-3 times an hour). The room was clean and comfortable - some people might feel the decor is quite dark, but it was stylish. As we had an early flight we only had the cold options available for breakfast, but they were wide-ranging and tasty, especially the mini-croissants!

There was no fridge in the room or the facilities to boil water to make coffee or tea. In the sauna there wasn't bucket or scoop to throw water on the rocks. Also there was problems with the A/C unit. You could regulate the temperature but not the air flow speed. It was always on the same speed 24/7.
The best thing to me and to my girlfriend was the sauna. It was big and comfortable and it has a nice view to airport runway. Nice breakfast with various choices of food to everybody.

The lobby/bar area was a little 'tatty', and could have been cleaner, but not a big issue
The early breakfast (from 4 am) was great - much more selection than I expected, and good quality stuff. It would have been good to have hot options, but I do understand that could not be possible at that hour. Location - close enough to the airport. Less than 10 mins shuttle. Room very comfortable, clean and reasonable size for an airport hotel. Reliable shuttle bus.

Grumpy receptionist at counter when arriving. Seemed unhappy. Told me absolutely nothing about anything. Just give me the card to the room No coffee making facilities in room. Waited until breakfast. No restaurant in evening but had some sandwiches (one filling cheese and ham), bag of nuts and a yogurt for £16.
Breakfast was very good and staff at breakfast seemed quite nice as well as the staff going around the rooms
