Communication was not the best. I had asked about tours that showed available on the website and didn't get a response until after the fact. Check in was also not clear and I had to call when I arrived. It all worked out and I would still stay here again.

The location is stunning! It requires more planning for transport if no car but well worth the effort. (You are aware of this when booking). Buses easy to use. Property was pristinely clean and very well equipped. Host was friendly and helpful and wants the best for his guests.

If microwave can be provided it will be perfect. There is no curtain at the front door. Even though the room is at the corner and there should be no one walk through, we would feel more privacy if small glass at the front door has curtain.

Location is good. It is close to town and many sightseeing areas. We can drive to Ersfjordbotn Viewpoint in only 3 minutes. View of fjord from room and balcony is very fantastic. Room is big and all equipment is new/very well maintenance. Host provided clear info for check-in.

It was a bit far from Tromsø to go back between activities so our days were long, but the property itself was great.

The location is absolutely spectacular! The heated floor in the bathroom was also great for quickly drying anything left damp from the snow.

The location was perfect and views stunning. So peaceful and relaxing. We didnt hear any of the other residents. About a 20 minute scenic drive into Tromso and 10 minutes to the nearest supermarket. There is a lovely little cafe the other side of the fjord which does excellent cake! It is walking distance. Unfortunately we didnt see the northern lights but I think we will definitely return.

Squeaky bed.

I didn't expect that the apartment that I rent was that big. It is excellent and it face directly to the sea (west). The place is not totally isolated, there are some houses nearby. Still, you will need a car. The bed is okay, just the top bunk bed is squeaky. Other facility is also work like brand new. If you have the intention to catch the aurora, it will not be as easy as going out to your balcony and saw one. In most of the time, you will need to go to a slightly remote area. The balcony facing west when normally aurora spread from north to south. You can walk a bit in the neighbourhood but behind the apartment, there's a hill that will block the way. Again, it might not always happened likat what I describe. You must have your car and hunt the aurora to a dark area where there is no light. And, if you stay here, we are only talking about 2 to 10 Km away to find such location.

Stunning location, peaceful & quiet. If you’re lucky enough on a clear day it’s perfect to see the northern lights. Extremely spacious apartment with all basic amenities included. Only advice would be is to rent a car from the airport which is easy & affordable as taxis cost a fortune to get to the city/ airport & public transportation is scarce.

There are 2 bedrooms ; 1 with twin bed and 1 with bunkbed, so suitable if 1 person who can climb up/down. The kitchen doesn't have toaster or coffee so plan to bring your own. As several reviews mentioned, the lighting on ceiling is quite dim, so property should put in few standing lamps.

We booked 2 nights here hoping to see Northern Lights. On 2nd night, we could walk out to balcony area and saw the aurora !! Beautiful location by the Fjord, far from city lights but short 30 min.drive to/from Tromso center. Apt.was very spacious, kitchen could cook, warm floors and comfortable. Checkin/out was simple, the caretaker (whom we never saw) sent us message which room number and room was already open with keys inside. Plenty of parking space next to apt.and roads were well lit for night-time drive to.from town. Plan to buy your groceries, food for breakfast etc.from supermarkets in Tromso or on way. No convenience store near apt.

Very clean and beautiful view . The apartment is well equipped , Beth room is extremely clean and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The location is close to visit different scenic places like Sommarøy and Tromvik and it is not too far from Tromsø. We stayed 2 nights and definitely would return if we visit again .

I couldn’t get the TV to work but I didn’t try very hard

I chose this as an alternative to staying in a standard hotel in Tromso. It was nice to take a 20-minute drive through amazing mountain scenery within an hour of my flight landing. Erfjordsbotn is a small town nestled at the end of a big, beautiful fjord. There’s a hike that begins within a 10-minute walk from the hotel and there’s a coffee shop/ bakery across the street from the trailhead. The room was surprisingly well-equipped. And I have to add that I’ve never had an owner of any place I’ve stayed stop by my room much less sincerely ask me to let him know if I need anything at all.

While this is likely the location rather than the complex itself, there seemed to be a slight beach smell within the apartment, which was slightly odd to experience in the winter. However, I am quite sensitive to smell and thus was the only one in my family to notice this scent.

The location was beautiful and off the beaten path. We were able to view the northern lights from outside the building. Also, just a few minutes drive down the road was another perfect location to view the northern lights. Since there weren't restaurants close by, we cooked at the apartment each evening and enjoyed watching TV as a family. Additionally, the staff was very accommodating of our late arrival time (ca 22:00) and made contact with us about how to check-in on the day of our arrival.

The only negative point was the sleeping room: the beds are for one person (even if we can make them close) and not that comfortable, which is surprising compared to the rest of the appartment. There was also no decoration in the rooms

The view from the balcony was simply great, the mountains and fjord were really impressive. We have been able to see some shy northern lights from the balcony while allowed to easily get warm. The kitchen was very well equipped. The appartement is large and has a very good quality for the price, especially when compared to hotels in Tromso city. If you can rent a car, don't hesitate to do so: Tromso city is nice but the surroundings are way better ! Ersfjordbotn is close to the city but also to great places such as Grotfjord, Tromvik or Hakoya, and in the direction of Sommaroy
