The staff was really helpfull. Had the chance of storing emtb in a secure place and charge while storing it there. I am very grateful of this flexibility!

I can’t think of anything, just be careful while cooking. The firealarm is really sensitive, as we didn’t turn on the fan from the kitchen. But that’s just an information to prevent others from false alarm and disturbing the other guests like we did.

The place is really amazing. Everything is new, everything you need available, the house is stunning and the rooms are simply amazing!

It was raining the whole day, not the property fault.

Good location, gate to Senja. With groceries , restaurant, gas station nearby. Clean, modern room with fully equipped private kitchen. Bed is comfortable. Self check in. Bathroom floor us heated. Lots of electric socket at convenient location. Variable Light control. Good value for money.

At least some „Double room with shared bathroom“ are in the basement with windows facing under the stairs which should be marked much clearer (which it probably is by now).

Finsnes Gaard is located in a nice wooden house at the sea. Everything is tidy and new. We booked the „Double Room with Shared Bathroom“ which was at this time labeled with mountain view, however it was actually in the basement without any view (which should be mentioned by now). After some slightly awkward conversions we were changed to a room on the 1st Floor with a lovely view.

My second stay at this property I had preferred the main house, but they were totally renovating it at this time I’ll be curious to stay when that’s all finished The cabins have a great view Probably a better value for someone who is going to use all the beds I was staying solo. I only used one bed. I would have liked if a little more attention had been given to making sure there was enough soap, and all the lightbulbs were updated As well, the TV connection to the Internet The host was very nice and came to help when I was having trouble with the stove, which was my error as there was a timer that needed to be turned on before the heating elements worked. I would like to try to stay again and maybe one of the smaller units once it’s renovated

The room was extremely cold, with no heating. The night stayed there was -16 degrees, and it was freezing inside the rooms. The rest of the house was perfectly heated.

Location just in the water, with huge windows facing the fjord, and direct acces to the terrace. From inside, we saw the northernlights and it was just to put jacket and boots and go out to the terrace to experience an amazing northern lights show. The open area (kitchen, eating room and living room) is incredible. High ceilings and enorm windows to enjoy the view. The kitchen has all the basics needed. It has supermarkets and the center of Finnsned on a walkable distance.

The shades don't block enough of the summer light. They could improve things by adding blackout curtains in the two mainfloor bedrooms. (I used my eye mask.) Note that there is also a loft bedroom overlooking the living/dining area. My bed was a little too firm for me, but I like a softer-than-average bed. Water spread over some of the bathroom floor whenever one of us took a shower. Though they supply a "squeegee" to push the water back in the shower area, we ended up also using paper towels to wipe the floor. There is no shelf in the shower. No facecloths are supplied. No toiletries are supplied except some handsoap. There is nothing to hang the toilet paper roll on, so we left the roll on the garbage can lid. The lights and outlets in the living/dining area didn't work, but we reported that the day we left, so that problem has probably been fixed. The microwave oven is in a high cupboard. I would have needed to use the bathroom stool to reach it, but luckily we didn't have to microwave anything. In spite of the "negatives," we had a good stay.

We had seahouse #3 (advertised as an "apartment with sea view.") We liked being on the shore with a view. We enjoyed watching the Arctic terns from our deck (those birds are only there in the summer). The location was quiet (except for the Arctic terns, whose noise we rather enjoyed). The location was good for doing daytrips to Senja Island. We had no problems with contactless check-in and received the code to the door the same day as we arrived. We were able to get in a little early. Though one is not supposed to park right by the cabins, you can unload and load there. The free parking area is in front of the white gate by the historic house, so very close by. Also nearby (walking distance) is an excellent Chinese restaurant and a couple of grocery stores. The seahouse was very clean. There is a clothes washer and dryer, which is a big plus in a country with few self-service laundromats. We thought the price was excellent considering they supply a washer and dryer.

The cleanliness was not the best but alright. Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedding and floor etc were fine but inside the nightstand and less used areas (which a toddler of course finds...) was a lot of dust and also he found two pills (some kind of medication) which we saw and could throw away. The two bedrooms on the ground floor (the third is open space on first/second floor) are quite small. We did not fit the baby bed in there and it was easier for our son to sleep in our bed - could easily fit on the open space first floor though but then there might be a stair-safe-door necessary.

The stay in Finsnes Gard was very nice. We travelled with out toddler (2) and my parents for a weekend and we had everything we needed in the Seahouse. Beautiful sight, very spacious, nice rooms and very close to the town centre and even closer to supermarkets. There is no barrier since the houses are directly at the sea - so we had to make sure our son would not jump into the water, but we also did not expect any :)

Maybe some tea coffee milk and bread etc in the fridge for the lodge, but that is being picky. That would only make an excellent stay even better.

The biggest part of the view was to the industrial area. There was no parasol or lounge chairs on the patio, which was a big minus.

The patio of the holiday apartment was really nice, the good thing about the location was the proximity of services. Some of the view was amazing.
