    Nothing

The very old historical style of the place, the friendly staff, the view of the lake, the food, the big commom space and outside terrazzo, that it was accessable also for handicapped travellers.

It is not a negative necessarily but this a historical hotel in a historical building so don't expect to find modern furniture and decoration!

Indoor swimming pool was great! Breakfast excellent and nice terrace! Staff very helpful and polite! Very clean!

Its perhaps a little tired in places but you're not paying 5 star prices here and the facilities are very good for the cost. There are also improvements taking place.

Great location and right next to the railway platform and the ski gondola - and opposite the lake - the location could not have been better. Ski room and a good sized room, good breakfast options for UK and European tastes - nice bar with plenty of space. Ski locker with boot heaters and a great pool, plus a sauna and hot tub plus a small gym if your pegs need even more exercise. The town itself has plenty of shops and a ski bus leaves opposite the hotel to take you a 30 min trip up to Myrkdalen the next ski resort which is higher and more open giving lots of options for off piste. The bus is free but suggest you prebook your place in busier periods. The train from Bergen is just over an hour and good value.

Some of the power outlets in the room didn't work, which is understandable in an old building but it was still very inconvenient in the evening, since the lamps were plugged in there. In the morning around 9 am - which is 2 hours before check-out time, a cleaner tried to come in the room twice within half an hour while I was inside. As a result, I felt rushed to check out and forgot some (thankfully not very important) things in the bathroom.

The location is the best possible, very near the train station, and the historical building is magnificent. The staff at the check-in counter was nice and professional. The breakfast is also very good.

Very old hotel, to some I am sure that’s the appeal , but v tired room . no hooks for hanging jackets which as a ski hotel seems v odd . No draft beer till my last night , big shame . Ski room being refurbished so hopefully that will be better next time.

Perfect location, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Only ate in the restaurant 1 night but was v good.

The lift did not get to the floor we stayed so we had to carry luggage up a few stairs. The room and the window were very narrow so the view through the window was limited.

The location is good. I love the antique display in the hotel. It is like a museum. The facade is grand.

Dinner suffered from large scale cooking; we had much better fresh, tender salmon at a local, medium-priced restaurant. When we arrived I had a serious fall coming down the wet metal ramp to the main entrance. This hampered my ability to fully enjoy the hotel.

Breakfast, comfortable downstairs, gluten free available

My room (a single) was really only suitable for a one night stay. There was no where to put clothes. I stayed for 4 days.

The venue, the location, the staff, the peace and quiet despite a road going into the town.

Not a problem of the hotel, but otherwise there is not much to attact me to this town.

Fleischer's is of its time, and era. It's kind of grand and posh-y, but in a still affordable way. That big dining room must have seen numerous big events. Staying here is a dose of nostalgia.

No safety Box. No air conditioner . No refrigerator. There is no coordination between the housekeeper and the reception. Old hotel needs some works .

Like most of the Norwegian hotels, the room and the bathroom were essential and minimal. The breakfast was decent but extremely poorly managed (no tag on the products, no microwave to heat up drinks, limited options for people with restricted diets, etc.).

The location of the hotel is amazing, you can access it directly from the train station, without being annoyed by the trains noise. It is also in front of the lake and the "outdoor norway office", one of the main company that arrange sports activities and rentals. By 5-10 mins walking you are in the city centre and in the main Voss park. Decent swimming pool and hot tub, and a lovely bar and terrace. Comfortable room, facing the lake, and comfy bed. Lastly, the hotel is an historical one and it is a pleasure to see ancient photo and furniture across the building.
