Beautiful location beside lake. Iris is a wonderful host like your favourite Aunt. Only two guest upstairs rooms so very quiet. Lovely shared dining area in between them with outlook. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Shared lounge with TV, games etc.Own private balcony with overlook of lake. Iris knew area well to tell about things to do.

Iris's accommodation has an incredible charm and it is the ideal place to have a real Norwegian experience: view over the fjord, "hyggelig" accommodation, beautiful roads and landscapes, endless possibilities for hiking, etc. And above all, Iris is a thoughtful host who is always available and loves a good laugh and exchanging with her guests. The location was everything we hoped and wished for. The host was really nice and pleasant to talk to. We had a stunning view from our bedroom's window. Everything was clean and Iris showed us around so that we could enjoy our stay. She was downstairs but we had complete privacy which was nice.

we had problems parking cause the driveaway is steep and it was icy. We recommend snow chains in the winter. There is no water in the kitchen but it was OK for us to clean dishes in the bathroom. It got little bit cold but Irish can get you heaters and there is fireplace in the common area.

The place is amazing, beautiful view, Iris is very nice host always helpful. We loved how isolated the place is. You have to count with not having any shops or restaurants close by in the winter. We cooked our meals. During summer there is a restaurant 10 min by car. Shop is 15-20 min away, petrol as well. We enjoyed the fireplace, view, walks in the surrounding area. The place is breath taking. The owner Iris is a very nice person who is always there for you if you need anything. We will definitely go back in the summer.

The weather is very dangerous there, and the road in the morning is icy. You have to be prepared in winter to get there.

The woman has worried about us, asking and recommending what we can do, that helps a lot when you don't know the place.

We really appreciated the lodging and would definitely recommend it! The upper floor is for the guests with sleeping rooms, bathroom, living room with fireplace and a kitchen. The arrangement of the house is gorgeous (little library, fireplace, ...). Also the view and the nearness to the Fjord was perfect! The host Iris is a very kind woman who welcomed us very friendly and open-minded. We felt comfortable with her and her beautiful house.

The host is renting out the second floor of her lovely house. Beautiful views, nice and cozy rooms and overall a very pleasant stay. It gave us a sneak peek of what the interior of the cool Norwegian houses look like. 🙂 Iris is a great host.

There was a slight odour of cigarette smoke in the room. I believe whoever used to live in that room used to smoke alot inside since the smell gets into the furniture and never goes away. Other than that all was great.

The host was friendly and caring. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Le location is simply magical. One of the most beautiful place you would get to see in Norway, more than worth it. The room is very cosy and everything is clean. Also Iris is a very nice host.
