The bathroom drain was a bit smelly

We liked our cabin a lot, it was super cozy and next to the river rapids. Our daughter enjoyed the outdoor playground and the trampoline area. The bistro was open on the day we arrived so we enjoyed some food there. Great stop on the Bergen - Oslo train line.

The property and cabin were exactly as they appeared online, and my son and I had a comfortable stay. Appreciated the overall cleanliness and privacy, as well as the convenient parking and beautiful setting by the river.

Over xmas there was no support. We also irdered a cabin for 8 and we were given a cabin for 6. The staff blamwd booking.com fir the mess in setting up the room spec. No restaurant facility

I stayed for 5 days during transition from peak to off peak season. Once the off peak season starts, topcamp shuts almost all facilities on weekdays including the restaurant and indoor playground. it’s a pity because there were still guests there on summer vacation.

check in instruction was not clear. I arrived at 5:10pm and the reception closed at 5pm due to Easter weekends. tried the booking.com pin but did not work. tried to call the emergency number at least 10 times but no one pick up. end up they left a msg in booking.com messaging system about 30 minutes before 5pm. luckily I have data roaming and checked the booking.com app or I have to search for another hotel to stay the night! I think the hotel can do better especially someone need to man the emergency phone!

Activities open way too late. Kids are up early and ready to go by 9. We could have made more of our day had things opened earlier.

The house rented was in the middle of an unfinished building zone, with the corresponding unpleasant views (I will abstain to post pictures, because it is not representative of the whole camp, nicely located by the river). I needed airplugs to sleep, as the camp is between the highway 7 and a railway. But I am very sensitive to noise

Online checkin and cabin access can be tricky through all the links and web pages. Little information provided about it and the stuff is only available within the opening hours.

Traveled on Easter with the family. Very nice cabins with riverview. Quiet place in wintertime. Good fireplace but bring your own wood. Bedclothes included, packed and very clean. For the price it is a top! Will certainly come back.

First of all the location is perfect for nature exploration, skiing or enjoying some quite time with family or friends. The cabin (only couple of meters from river) was modern and bright with huge windows, excellent views, spacious and completed with everything we needed. Groceries shops around 5 min walk. And because we arrived and left during holiday time we appreciated cabin key collection/drop from safe. We and our kids in their 18s lowed everything about the cabin and surroundings.

The only thing was that on our Keys the number said 103, while in fact our house had two Numbers attached to the building: 128 and 3. It took us a while to figure out which cabin is ours.

No information about the house where should we go, after 100 times call to resepsjon got answer that our hytte is nr 5, the card key is in the box with code. after 1000 times trying to open the doors we cant go in and staying outside with a little baby and pregnant woman 2 hours… resepsjon by phone they said sorry we can’t do anything… really? 🤬 my friend find another cards from other hytte, they accept that we can go in there, but when we came there it was full of trash… i would like my money back

the evening of August 8th myself and my family were driving near Gol, just 17 kilometers from Hallingdal, when we were notified by the police that access to Topcamp - Hallingdal was impossible as road number 7 was completely blocked by earth sludge. My call to the camp (to the telephone number as shown in my reservation on Booking) was answered by Customer Service Representative. She was aware of our problem at that evening and assured me that, I would get my payment back upon forwarding my bank account specifics, which I did. My request was thus far denied.

The apartment was not cleaned by the cleaner!!! . The floor is dirty and dusty. And we found out that the one of the cooking pot was not washed with food residual. And it was placed in the cabinet. The kitchen after sometime stop immediately. Not recommended
