We arrived at the hotel at 12.30am after disembarking from our cruise and there was someone there to welcome us. Our room was very comfortable and there was a lot of space. The bathroom was very nice with a hot shower. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. Shame I did not have time to try the gym as we stayed only one night. The hotel is very convenient for staying before or after a cruise and it is centrally situated. Check-out is at 12.00 so we had time to explore Alesund before our flight.

Seems some part of the breakfast like vegetables was second-day and kept in the fridge. It's okeish but not the best.

Price/value is great. Clean. I liked the shared zones. The personnel were nice and helpful. The breakfast overall was very good.

Nice & newly renovated rooms, exelent location at harbourfront, the staff are very friendly and always a pleasure to stay at Hotel Noreg Ålesund. Highly recommended. The lounge on 2nd floor are a great place to relax after work. Aslo the arts are blending in nicely.

The light switches in the room were surely state of art but I never understood them.

The breakfast was good. Lots of choices of both warm and cold food. The location was perfect. Not too far to town centre, yet at the same time, not too close that it was noisy. Would recommend for the location and will stay again.

Not much - was missing milk for coffee in the room but the reception helped with getting some from the breakfast room.

Lovely corner room larger than standard (I would guess) with everything we needed for a good stay a couple of nights. Beautifully decorated and seemed like this was quite recently done. Very good breakfast with a lot of choice and friendly and helpful personnel. Short walking distance to everything Ålesund centre has to offer.

The coffee at breakfast was not very good at all. The coffee machine by the business centre was better but the beans tasted a bit burnt

Very clean, simple hotel with rooms that had a 'vintage modern' flair at a very fair price. Staff very friendly and accomodating. In a location very close to water, shops, and sights. Free breakfast was generous and good. We didn't stay long (this was predominantly a sleeping spot between the Atlantic Ocean Road and Lillehammer), but we did find it very walkable, and the town was quaint and lovely. Parts of it reminded us of Amsterdam.

Maybe the sauna could work better and a bit more attention to the dressing rooms in the gym. Nothing major but this can be improved.

Great breakfast buffet, perfect location in the center of town, very good value. Rooms were comfortable and there is a good sauna (could work better) and a very decent gym. Very recommended.

There was only 1 pillow on each side of the bed. On the last night we found spare pillows in the wardrobe which seemed unusual but that is the only small thing.

An exceptional stay at the hotel. All of the staff were very helpful, from telling us on street parking was free from our arrival on Saturday night until Monday morning, to the fantastic, varied breakfast on offer. The room was a good size and had everything we needed. The hotel is clean, tidy and central. Everything you need.

Group passengers go around the breakfast bar to get food, drinks, and tableware, all are crowded on one route. If the moving route design to be improved, it would be more convenient.

room was well appointed and had tea&coffee making facilities as well as a small fridge which is not always the case in Norway. There were also tea&coffee available from the dining area.
