It was a good location, and friendly owner! I can recommend it!

Sometimes a bit too much flies .. but you know that you are on a farm, so that is some collateral damage that you need to take into account.

Friendly reception and easy to talk to the owner.

actually I really have to think hard about something I did not like, as I found my stay very enjoyable ... but there were 2 slight nuisances: in the rooms you can hear your neighbours veeeerry well! so they are a bit noisy ... and the sink in the bathroom was very small. so nothing that couldn't be fixed with a pair of earplugs or tolerable.

The estate is absolutely amazing! The beautifully redone, traditional house is a gem and one can feel the love that's hidden in every detail. The breakfast was lovely (although no special vegan options or plant milk was available, but i've been travelling norway for a while - so I know to come prepared). The house is on the premises of a working farm and you can look at the pigs and cows and enjoy the tranquility and views! right next door the oyna restaurant is an experience. I stayed in the mainhouse in a room with bathroom, there are also rooms with bathroom across the hall and it seems also some tiny homes. There is a little shop that offers local beer and some wine, which is open in the afternoon.

it isn’t in walking distance of a restaurant so you need to plan ahead for a dinner meal.

It is a unique property that allows you to get a taste of history, of an authentic working Norwegian dairy farm, plus it has some of the most ideal views in the country. You can walk to a church built in the 1100s.
