You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomService in the dining hall for dinner was like Faulty Towers. Almost comical to see 6 people fail at serving just 5 tables. Our food was great - but a long wait for menu’s, a long gap in between courses and the table next to us were asked 4 times what they had ordered… Our rooms were clean, but basic. Exceptionally hot with no fan or aircon.
Location and view really great. Very clean and well maintained property. Lovely grounds and a sea front location - lovely views out to the sea.

NorwayWe think that room standard was rather low, armature in bathroom was old, there was only soap and no shampoo, simple furniture, small room and we couldn't find electrical outlets in the room (needed to charge a phone in the bathroom). We experienced that hotel staff doesn't have necessary information to give a service on expected level. While booking a room we received an offer with a special dinner price but it appeared in the restaurant that it's not possible to order a meal in that price. Waitress wasn't oriented about this offer and needed to check it with reception where she was informed that this price is not available for us. We had to show our booking with the information about the dinner offer for the reception to finally get the price given by the hotel via booking app. Explaining whole this misunderstanding took a lot of time. In the end our dinner took two hours. Even though we paid agreed price, and received an additional discount, we left the hotel beeing a bit soaked and we didn't feel comfortable there. We've been missing any facilities for kids. Hotel is not a family friendly place but perfect for adults.
Waitress was very nice and the restaurant food was great and nicely served. Portions are very big. Wide choice of a good wine. Hotel lays in a beautiful surrounding.

NetherlandsThe room was not as expected considering the price of the room. The furniture could use an upgrade. The toilet was very dirty when we arrived. Breakfast was very simple with just simple bread, yoghurt, some fruits and vegetables and drinks. Not as expected considering the price.
The location was good, we got a room with a view on the fjord. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet.
