I like the location but being next to the University there are students walking down the street at all hours on the weekend. I don’t mind that except I was woken up by the noise because the windows don’t block street noise.

Apartment 1 on the ground floor was superb. Apartment 6 in the loft space had no wardrobes to hang clothes or other storage space. And the proximity of the slanting roofs to the beds meant 3 of us used that Apartment - 1 person to each room. We would have been in danger of regularly banging our heads if we shared those rooms. We suggest a toaster in each apartment would be useful.

We loved the location of the apartments. They were very clean, easy to access and a very useful luggage store that we were able to use as we had to check out several hours before our flight home. It was easy to communicate with the owners.

I think it would be very convenient if the kitchen stocked some basic essentials. ie salt/pepper, cooking spray/oil. The couches could use a deep clean or replacement.

We liked the apartment very much and the central location was great. The beds were comfy and we loved having a thermostat for each room.

some of the ceiling area was a little low being a top floor flat. one or two more utensils such as a sieve and a draining board would be good.

beautiful apartment in fab quiet location yet close to the centre. a few minutes only from the Grieghalle and 10 mins from railway. we were able to store our luggage on departure day.

Problems with induction hob then just after that with the water leaking alarm. Fortunately the "owner" contacted by phone reacted rapidly and the problems were fixed. No parking available. I almost got a fine during the unloading of our luggage. Bergen is not very friendly for foreign tourists (meaning all non-residents). We had to park in a public P-place for 68 € for 2.5 days!

Beautiful apartment at walking distance from city centre. Plenty of room and calm. Easily contacted owner.

we didn’t like the situation about the parking as we had arrived at 10 pm and took us 2 hours to go and park the car in parking area and come back walking .

Just too many house rules, almost threatening ones. As if you were there at their mercy, and you stayed for free. Cleaning instructions were really annoying. Ultimately you’re a paid guest who has paid heftily for rent, cleaning etc. You can’t be threatened for levying charges for leaving some unremoved pillow cover. Slanting walls on the top floor apartment was a sure bang on everyone’s head at least once. beds under the same slanting walls were more like a make shift arrangement No hangers in bathroom to hang your essentials.

Most wonderful location, at a walking distance from Railway station, super market, kiwi mini pris, Bus station, too many restaurants, parks and Bryggen the most interesting part of Bergen. All at no more than 10-15 minutes walk. It was a spic and span house, extremely well kept. Very classy decor Good amount of kitchen utensils and cutlery.

While for the most part everything was great, the only part that was annoying was that we had to put on our own linen for the bedding. We arrived post midnight, and we were super tired, so having to do this was quite frustrating.

The property was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The location was central too. We were traveling with quite a few suitcases, so having a lift was a blessing.

A few minor kitchen issues.

Very spacious and clean place, only a few minutes from central town in quite neighbourhood. Kitchen well equipped, but could do with a few improvements. A microwave would have been good, and some wooden spoons for cooking if being picky. And a pepper grinder would also have been handy. It’s amazingly hard to crush peppercorns finely without a grinder. These are just very small points, and not aimed at reflecting negative on the apartment which generally is super nice !!!

The view of the University of Bergen museum was spectacular from the living / dining room. The lighting was lovely in apartment and the space was fantastic.

Lots of "little" things missing that can make a big difference in the experience: no hooks in the bathroom, no soap in the bathroom, no detergent for the washing machine, no sponge in the kitchen,. etc.
