In the bathroom there was not the shower box, but the tent, so it was hard to keep it dry.

Very quiet hotel with no staff, I just received a code by email to enter the building and to enter my room. There were not cards or keys.

We’ve never seen such a concept, as you don’t see any one from the beggining to the end : the check in is online, the breakfast is put in the kitchen (which is in the middle of the corridor). I think it’s a great thing, but we’re not used to it !

SMS messages were slow (though this might not the hotels fault!). The room was rather warm, but the weather was very hot.

A very convenient location, handy for the centre of Arendal. I missed the SMS message about breakfast but the member of staff who sent it very kindly made me a breakfast when I saw her.

The shared kitchenette in the hallway could have been a bit better equipped so that you could more easily have breakfast by yourself.

The hotel was very nicely located, Arendal is a nice and compact town in beautiful surroundings. The room had everything we need, was clean and new and comfortable. Even though the hotel specified they are an unmanned hotel, the staff was available and very friendly.

There are a lot of steps leading up to the hotel with no accessible option. I wish I’d pre-ordered the breakfast deal. I stayed Sat evening to Sunday morning and there was zero option for an early breakfast.

As the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment I was disturbed with workmen using power tools at 7.30am on the first day of my stay.It was disappointing not to have a TV in the room although the WiFi is very good if you have a tablet with you.Maybe a small desk should be added also.The hotel doesn't,t appear to have a lift & is accessed up one flight of stairs.This might be a problem if a visitor has physical disabilities.

The central location to Arendal.The room was comfortable.The bed was exceptionally comfortable.The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment at the moment so the carpets,fixtures & fittings are brand new & everything worked as expected.A key code was sent on the day to gain entry to the hotel & room as there is no reception .Communication with owners was very good.The WiFi reception was also very good.

Breakfast was not what we were expecting, as we imagine a small buffet but it consisted of a sandwich, orange juice, and coffee/tea. Also, it was difficult to work from the room as it did not have a table, but the staff very kindly let us know that they do have working space on another floor.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect and the bed and linen comfortable.

No closet/wardrobe in the room for your clothes. We had a superior room, which is quite large and has a good bathroom. Other rooms were significantly smaller.

Excellent location in the city center. Excellent bed. The hotel is unstaffed and self-service, but the owners are around frequently and very friendly. Breakfast is a very simple but fresh and tasty lunch box (sandwich ham/cheese/lettuce, bottle of orange juice) delivered to the room. It is the same every day. Fresh coffee and tea were also available.

Very poor ventilation on a hot summer’s day. Almost impossible to lower the temperature after sundown even with the windows fully open. There is no kitchenette in the room, but a nice kitchen with a fridge in the common area. No mirror in the room, and you couldn’t keep the door open to the bathroom while someone was in the shower. Therefore it was impossible to get ready at the same time. There were no closets in the room either, but a couple of hangers.

We did not find the extra toilet paper, because we had so many bags, it hid its location in the night-stand. I wish it was in a more visible spot. There should be some more hooks in the bathroom. It is a small bathroom with a shower curtain, and few places to put things. It gets wet if you place anything on the floor. I don't mind the shower and wet floor, but yeah, some hooks to hang clothes on would be practical.

We were 3 ladies on vacation. We got a double bed and a sleeping-chair. The chair was not the best, but works for a shorter stay. The room was fresh and clean, window towards the backyard, so quiet. The room was a littlebit small for 3 women and their bags. :P But it worked out well. It is a no-reception facility, we got a code on text when the room was ready. Worked out well. We had a breakfast bag delivered in the morning. We could choose from bread with cheese and ham, or a vegetarian option. We all chose the first one. The bread was fresh and really good, the two sandwiches had different kinds of cheese/ham and garnish, witch I appreciated. Also a small orange juice was included. In the hall there were a kitchenette where we could make coffee or tea. Really lovely. The town centre is a down hill walk of less than 5 minutes. Really good location. There is a parking facility near by if you come by car. The hotel does not have free parking included. >You have to carry your bags up one flood. I did not see an elevator.
