Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdom- Staff being located two blocks away in a different hotel makes for a frustrating experience. Within 3 nights I made 6 trips over. 3 of which were for the same problem. My TV remote didn't work, to which the solution was to provide a whole new room, however with the strange key app for the old room and physical keys from reception for the new one I was alternatingly locked out of new rooms and old rooms. I was also locked out of the entire building on one occasion as I hadn't been informed there was a door code to get in., so another trip to find out how to get in. All would have been solved far easier if they at least installed phones to reception within the rooms if they don't want to have an actual person on site. - Kettle provided in the room along with an empty paper cup. I did not use these as buying my own coffee and tea etc to use in the paper cup seems silly. Might as well just buy a coffee in a coffee shop and have them make it for me too.
- Great location except for if you have a room facing away from the street on the nights the club below is active. - Bathroom and bedding seemed clean. - The staff from the reception over at the other hotel did their best to assist with several problems I experienced.

SpainSelf checkin with mobile is a disaster. Several couples asked for help each of the 4 days we stayed, all unhappy. Staff at sister hotel were helpful but the point is, they are not there. How is this hotel rated 3 star with no service onsite?. Expect this kind of do it yourself checkin with a cheap hostel perhaps. Entry ares are shared with other businesses and are tatty and dirty.
Great location. A few minutes walk to fish market, key bus stops right opposite and restaurants closeby. Comfortable bed, good size double, windows that open and plenty of light.

AustraliaRate this hotel poorly for access. It was self-checkin that didn't work for us or three other guests who were trying to get the pass-code to work. Had to go to the main hotel down the street to get physical key cards. However, the next morning the young male receptionist at the main hotel was very helpful with directions and ordering a taxi.

NorwayDidnt like that elevator was not in service so needed use stairs to the 6th floor. Bathroom window blinds were damaged and destroyed, was not possible to close it. No sponges to clean the kitchen, no any other tissues for cleaning. I didnt found how called tv for chromecast (so found out myself, it was named bod).
Was nice jacuzzi and view through the window, good location.
