But the room was too warm for us, the owner welcomed this comment as underfloor heating and ground pumps were new this year. There was no kettle but they supplied me with boiling water for my coffee pot. There is a train line overhead, and I did hear two but they didnt bother me. Their shower traps may have been empty as it smelled on arrival, its a bit of a problem in Sweden and Norway, the humidity is so low water evaporates fast opening up airways to sewers, but it did clear after I ran the shower and taps for a minute

I booked a hotel not far from this, but found it had been shut for a few years. Namsentunet were able to take my booking at very short notice or I was sleeping in the car that night, this area was the coldest I saw on my trip at -9c, I expected colder for February. The owners were chatty, as Nords go. Its a hunting lodge and many of the local catches are stuffed in the restaurant as is quite the fashion in the region, and this gave me my only chance to see a lynx.

The accommodation was very noisy. Our neighbor was coughing and sniveling all night. As a result, we slept very badly.

Best suited for groups as the rooms are rather small whereas the common facilities are huge. Not for people who'd rather see fishes well and alive as this is a fishing hub but at least you are warned.

It's good cabin to sleep for one nihgt, when you arrived in late evening. Basic breakfast but is enough. The Bed is soft. Good location.

The property is right next to the road, in particular the busy E6, resulting in considerable traffic noise. The wooden walls between the rooms are thin; you can hear your neighbors talking. The dinner options are limited and represent ‘instant food’, not true cooking.

The rooms are located in cottages on the property; everything is clean and well maintained. the reception building harbors a nicely decorated restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The staff is friendly.

The owner called us at 21 o'clock to ask if we are coming, I said that we will come in one hour. We are coming at 22.00 as it was agreed. She is walking to show us the small cosy house, while we are driving by the side with a car, I stopped the car when she was unlocking one of the houses and walking inside. Suddenly she turns around locks the house, and says" it is not clean inside, I need to find a sollution ". Then she runs back into reception gives us the key for two floors house, with a strange smell, two locked bedrooms and two others we can use. Trashes in the kitchen, one clean shower and another one with not cleaned glass in the shower and bad smell. There was no cosy atmosphere inside the house and even much more suprisingly worse bedrooms, where you can lie down and feel like being in a coffin. At least the bed sheets were clean. Also the host offers you breakfast. When you are coming into building where is reception, you are also coming into really nice and spacious hall with a food desk. For the breakfast you can choose between cold scrambled egg or cold egg with even more colder bacon on it. P.S. the most funniest and also most disgusting thing was that the man (one of the owners) who was working at the reception was walking around food desk and picking food with bare hands. After he saw we were watching, he took a plate (even better decision was made) and put the food in it. Yes, I know it is village, but when you see such a price it doesn't look like village. The most pity think that nobody even tried to say sorry and nobody wants to talk about refund Never have I ever been so annoyed both of the place and the service until Namsentunet. With all respect....

At least got 4 clean beds. Our fail was that we came too late, and it was just too late to look out for another place.

It just does not look like the pictures very much, our room was in fact in the pictures but the lighting really made a difference in real life. And not a positive one. In the room description we had a bunch of things that were nowhere to be seen: the water heater was in the common area; there was absolutely no patio; there was no private entrance at all, we had in fact to climb stairs (one of us is injured in one foot and that was not super pleasant); there was absolutely no soundproofing, the opposite was true, we heard everybody until late at night; our room had 0 views (no garden, no mountain, no river, just the roof mildly); and of course it had no terrace. We expected to arrive to some nice cabin that had our own entry and outdoor space and we ended up sharing a building with many noisy neighbors. The common areas were great though, but not the expectation. It was a perfectly fine hotel, but maybe there is no need to advertise things that are not delivered. In our room there was no phone coverage and no Wi-Fi, though one could connect to the Wi-Fi, again, in the common areas. The staff are very nice and helpful.

This is an interesting place to stay. We guessed that if you are into fishing it is probably amazing. The buildings are interesting and quirky, it is all full of fishing and hunting (mostly fishing) decoration. There are a lot of common areas which are very nice. We got a big room with our own bathroom. We had dinner on site and the food was very good. Breakfast is really great.

Very soft bed but it's everywhere in Norway.

The place was great, nice and river nice, you can fishing if you have own rod. The room was nice, clean and the bath was perfekt.
