No complaints. Everything was up to or exceeded expectations. Was a little skeptical because it’s a shared bathroom with other guest but everything was very clean and was an enjoyable experience.

Hotel was great with communication! Made us feel right at home. We forgot an item and they were very helpful with coordinating the return. We had an amazing view of the northern lights right from bed. Was an amazing experience.

Huts very warm and cosy, with great views. Meals were tasty, especially the reindeer and salmon. Hottub was great too. Staff were so lovely - so helpful and welcoming

The location and the set up is very beautiful, special Mention to the ultra kind staff who were really helpful with all our requests. We even got an early checkin. Note : You can reach this place with bus no 920 (Arctic Route) which needs to be pre booked else you can hop on a public transport bus 160. Highly recommend the place.

Thomas and team were very helpful and friendly. The igloo is nice and cosy, food was very nice and we also enjoyed the sauna and the first snowmobile tour of the season with Thomas. It is a very special place and unique experience. Highly recommended!

Location - right at the city of Hatteng where the bus will stop by. Glass igloo house - new, modern design, see-thru glass was the highlight. atmosphere - super nice, best for couple. facilities - all very near and walkable, unlike others where you need to walk very far to reach toilet/washroom. overall environment - very beautiful, nice spot to wait to see aurora.

Only downside is the infrequent bus that runs only once or twice a day to and from Tromso. Checkout is at 11am and the bus isn’t until 4pm so can be a long wait. However they allowed us to checkout late and use the facilities, and made a fire to keep us warm.

Amazing accommodation, we were very lucky and saw the northern lights so many times over the evening and through the night. No light pollution so really clear Skys! The hut was cosy and warm and so was the shared bathroom only a short walk away. We were even picked up unexpectedly from the bus stop and dropped at the accommodation so we didn’t have to wait in the cold! Can’t recommend enough.

Thomas and Annie were super helpful, kind and accommodating from start to finish. We booked the snowmobiling tour and they managed to delay our transport back to Tromso for an extra day so we could check into the igloo for the night. The igloo was amazing. Super cosy and beautiful views. The snowmobiling tour was so much fun and the guides took careful consideration to ensure our safety and give interesting facts about the valley. The food was delicious and breakfast is a must. We used the sauna on the last day which was truly spectacular. They give you gowns and shoes, provide water and heat up a private sauna for you. It was absolutely magical.

The staff are amazing. So attentive and friendly. Took care of everything and anything you needed. Asked them if we could use the jacuzzi, they had it set up within 20 mins. Asked them we wanted a last minute dinner. They also got that together in time for dinner in 2 hours. Amazing food 2 courses and waited on. We wanted to do a reindeer feeding experience and they sorted that out for us too. Transport to and from the camp to the reindeer farm and an authentic experience too. The huts are so warm and cosy. Beds so comfy too. Bathroom facilities are in such a short distance and are so warm too. So many communal warm spaces too to use as you wish. Easy bus to and from Tromso and the camp is within walking distance to the train station. Overall amazing!!!!!!! We were blown away and will remember this trip for years to come.

There isn't a negative thing I can say. Weather was tricky so we didn't see the aurora but Thomas would have taken us out later to look for them if we weren't tired and looking forward to our cozy accommodations so much.

Thomas & Anniya rolled out the red carpet for us. We pre-booked meals and were very well fed. We utilized the wood burning sauna and arctic winds to get our blood flowing. They lit a roaring fire for us in the outdoor tent. We were taken to a friend's to meet some of their reindeer, including a newborn, and were able to hand feed them lichen. We woke to a light dusting of snow in our glass yurt which was incredibly clean and cozy. Grounds are a dream and the staff is truly amazing.

Email communication was quite tough - I tried to book experiences a couple times, however it didn't seem to work out. At arrival, the staff were super helpful and got us on to the experience we requested.

The igloo is amazing. Stunning view. Very comfortable. Not as small as expected. There is no fridge and also no coffee/tea making facilities. There is a gass stove and tap in the igloo which can not be used. There is also a toilet which we were advised to only use for emergencies. The shower and main toilet is a quick walk from the igloo in a separate building. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The owner was just as nice. Everyone spoke english so well which made things really easy. The bathrooms are nice and spacious and always nicely heated and clean. We used the jacuzzi and the owner even gave us a free sauna session. Towels, gowns and crocs were provided. There is a grocery store a few minutes walk from the property. It has everything you need including alcohol. We used the public bus to get back to the airport which to our surprise actually showed up. BRILLIANT EXPERIENCE!!!!

Thomas and the team at North Experience Basecamp went above and beyond to make our stay as special and enjoyable as possible. Thomas was generous and accommodating to all of our needs. The room itself was unbelievable and the common seating tent was a beautiful touch which brought a wonderful Sami experience to the stay! The vegan meals were delicious, could not recommend this place more highly!!

We spent 2 unforgettable days here, and not only did all our expectations come true, but they were surpassed! Location is beautiful, set in almost middle of no where. It is peaceful, with great walks to be done from camp. There's a little shop and cafe nearby too so not too isolated. Plus they arranged airport transfers so v handy. Jacuzzi and sauna are so lovely and relaxing after a day out walking. You can do lots of once in a lifetime trips and experiences. This is definitely an experience of a trip would 100%recommend!
