Fishermen start preparing to sail out from very early morning, and you can hear them moving quite well. but thats just slightly inconvenience.

This is a great place, with very friendly staff, exceptional cleanliness and very comfortable beds. Even Though we only used the place for rest between our hikes, not for fishing trip it was great choice. I can really recommend

Bathroom was a walk in shower. The drain was not the best hence floded bathroom each time.

Fantastic location, such a charming and chilled place. Staff seems happy and relaxed. Place seems run by men only:) rooms/our 2 bed appartment did not have cosiness but we didnt care as we only slept in there. Beds comfortable and sheets clean. Lots of fantastic hikes within short driving distance. Amaizing view of midnight sun. Fishing available from the pier and facilities to gut your fish also available. Not to mention all suport from friendly and helpfully staff. Mackrell for dinner! We also had fancy fish and chips and fish soup from the restaurant which were nice. They organise sea fishing trips. Lots of speed boats avaliable but we didnt fancy such activity. However this seemed very popular in this area.

The common areas were not so clean (this depends on the guests). Shared WC and shower (2) are in the same room, so if you only need the WC and someone is taking a shower, you have to wait, that's not good. Not good for disabled people because there are only stairs for the rooms (quite uncomfortable too when you have luggages)

Nice and clean room, with fridge and sofa. Reception closed but nice people at the restaurant available. Linen and towels provided.

I felt the floor was bit dusty when I kept my shoes on shoe rack in the corridor and went inside the room with bare foot.

The location was good but windows don't permit the views much. There is possibility to do fishing in their boats; guided or unguided. We didn't use that but the boats looked really good.

Restaurant good to know: No menu, have to ask for prices, including drinks. Four options for dinner, i.e. two burgers (fish and regular), fish & chips, and a fish soup. All same price, 250kr. Food was good, but small portion if hungry. The dinner does not include or have optional bread, vegetables or salad, except one salad leaf in burgers.

Location is stunning. Fishing atmosphere is excellent. Nice rooms, comfortable sofa and beds, a proper fridge in room. Restaurant has good views. Customer shared kitchen looked good. Decent breakfast available for 150kr. Friendly staff.

The drying rack for dishes doesn’t have a tray underneath to hold water, this leaves water dripping on the working bench in the kitchen.

Owner replied to text messages after a long time or not at all.

There were 2 separate bedrooms, TV and couch corner and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and oven. There was also food like coffee, spaghetti and oats, not sure if from owner or previous guests. But thanks! Beds were super comfy.

Excellent location to base in Senja. All the attractions/ interesting points are in a short driving distance. Very good shared kitchen facility. Also the food was great in the restaurant!

Nothing. Exactly as expected.

Fantastic food. If you stay here you must try the cod. Excellent chef and very friendly staff. All in all this is a place dedicated to the ocean, it is all about fishing, boating, watersports... And getting some peace and quiet. Place is very clean. Beds are very comfy. Wifi is fast. Perfect also as a base for Senja hikes (Hesten/Segla), most.of which are less than 30mins by car.

Personnel was very nice, helpful, polite and the place had everything one could need: several shared kitchens with all dishes frying pans etc and several ovens, dining places, showers, toilets so one would not need to wait. In addition, personnel was very solution-oriented and flexible and kindly helped us with all questions we got during our stay. Last but not the least, the place is perfectly located at the sea side surrounded by high mountains giving an amazing view of magnificent landscape during breakfast cups of coffee :-)

The bathrooms upstairs could be updated.

The hotel had big rooms, it was dog friendly and had a good breakfeast. The stuff was very friendly. They have a small restaurant where you can get tasty fish meals. All the ingredients are local. :)

The property was unique. The scenerey around is breath taking. The restaurant located down stairs with the reception and rooms were upstairs. It was easy to find there because it was the only big white building in area. The room were tidy and nicely decorated. They also had blinding curtains so it was nice to sleep in dark. Since the sun is up all night. We were only meant to stay one night here, but when we got downstairs for a beer the staff talked to us and made us feel like home. We also red from the reviews that they make the best halibut dish ever, so it was worth of staying another night to experience the dish. We decided that we want to stay here another night and it was best decision we ever made. The next night, one of the owners and chef Mare made the food and it was DELICIOUS. They also took us for a fishing trip the next morning and we catched a big halibut!!! Overall we were so happy of our stay that it was really hard to leave. Thanks for all the employees that made our stay unforgettable. It is rare to get this kind of customer service nowadays. We will definitely come back next year and bring our friends with us xxx

We took a ferry from Brensholmen to Senja in the evening and drove to the hostel but found out that the tunnel we were taking is closed when we got there so we had to drove all the way back around 80km to the other side of island The host should have told us about the closing tunnel instead of just asking what time we will arrive!! When we arrived around 10PM and done the payment the host didn't guide us to the room. He just told us the room no and said that he have left the key in the door which he didn't. We had to ask helps from guests to contact the property for us. 2 bathrooms for the whole floor is not enough!!!
