Simple guesthouse, close in appearance to studio apartment. Ideal location for whale watching tours and close proximity to restaurants and supermarkets. Easy check in process. Staff happy to help with any requests

the bathroom bin wasn’t empty, old apple and rubbish inside, there is a kitchen but only a low small coffee table allowing one plate.

Quite a small studio that differed from the pictures shown on this page, but it did not matter as it was super clean and had everything we needed.

Perfect location, modern and clean furniture. Wonderful bathroom. Staff was great too.

This place really feels like a little ‘home’. The apartment has everything you need, and it’s really easy to walk to the docks for ferries and boat tours, and to the supermarket. it was nice to feel like you were within the community of the town. Also the team were very accommodating when I arrived late in the evening to check in!

Bed was too soft.

Great flexibility for booking last minute when unsure if we'd manage the connection to Hurtigruten to get there from Tromso. Staff were really helpful. Answered my online questions within minutes and helped with taxi booking. Stayed up to greet us as we arrived at 22:30 from the Hurtigruten and helped with luggage.

We could not figure out how to watch TV, so ended up with Netflix all the evening.

Breakfast cost a little extra and was delivered the evening before at our door. OK, portion, but not really a breakfast fresh out from the oven.

Kitchen was missing an oven. So though a few convenient stores were nearby it was hard to prepare frozen food.

Room could have been a bit more bigger for the price. We have had bigger places at lesser rates in Norway. An oven in the kitchen would have been very helpful.

Accessibility to city and recreation facilities were great. We had a small kitchen and a grocery store was nearby. There was also a restaurant nearby. TV was great and the location was just 600 m away from a nice lake and sea side.

nothing, view of the harbour would have been nice but the locality is fine , 5 mins walk to ferry terminal. Also 2 mins to supermarket open 0700-23000 so you can buy food in

well equipped kitchenette, with fridge, hob and pan so you could make porridge for breakfast, which I would recommend as the “house” breakfast is not worth buying, 90 kr for toast bread & ham

Wonderful warm place. Right at the center of town. Wonderful people at the restaurant.

Lighting is poor in the room. No one to greet us on arrival so we were stood in the cold for a while. Finally got hold of the owners and we were given the wrong key so still couldn’t get in. Poor organisation for winter in Norway to be stood in the cold.

Excellent guest house with everything you need. perfect for a couple. Super close to whale watching tours and supermarkets. Just outside the property you can find Pa Hjornet, the Diner where everyone’s extremely cordial and they make good food. The room is very clean and modern, provided with a smart Tv, good Wi-Fi, and a new bathroom. Hannah the owner was incredibly nice and helped us when our cruise got cancelled, she let us stay at the guest house for 4 hours after the scheduled checkout time. She answered to her phone every day and helped us out a lot.

Nothing!

På Hjørnet Gjestehus is right in the centre of Skjervøy, so it’s incredibly convenient. Very short walking distance to all the shops and tour departure points. It’s newly renovated, so it’s clean and modern. It has a sister café right across the road which is handy. The woman who runs it was very kind and stayed up until 1am to check us in after our flight got delayed. I would recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be staying here again when I return to Skjervøy!
