What annoyed me was that the building site opposite my room kept construction lights on - for no clear reason - during the night. So I could not sleep well. And the staff couldn't fix it, although it would only require unplugging 5 or so lamps. This was frustrating. The team offered another room on opposite site, but did not really solve the issue for other guests. I still can't figure why... This location should have a sauna! Seems a strange omission?

Splendid location and view. Beautiful facility. Very nice staff. Ideal for outdoor workout and relaxation afterwards. I strongly recommend Pellestova!

the double rooms are quite worn out, both the furniture and the walls would need some refurbishing. also there could be more variety when it comes to food for breakfast. there is a lot of musli and dried fruit but not much vegetables

They charged me for parking through the car rental agency. It's very strange for me that I need to pay for parking at a hotel with so much space and in such a sneaky way.

We were late for dinner yet they took our order via messages and it was excellent fresh warm food waiting for us as soon as we arrived and took our seats! :) The hostess helped us with some useful tips and the bar men helped me out of his good heart to put the EV on charge despite the freezing snowy conditions. Would love to go back!

They had put two beds to get together to make the queen size bed, but the beds kept separating so couldnt sleep perfectly! But everything else was excellent!

Fabulous breakfast, one of the best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel (muesli, norvegian bread, fruits..). Beautiful view from the hotel. Large room very well equipped. Possibility to take a shower after checking out if you go for a hike. Strongly recommend this hotel for summer or winter activities.

Bathroom might need a fresh up to match the rest of the facilities, and a slightly bigger gym room would have been nice.

The hotel is located in a fantastic area, away from the crowds and surrounded by stunning nature! The building itself is quaint, creating this both cozy, rustic, and sleek vibes. Rooms are comfy, with great views over the mountains; gym room is functionnal, and common spaces (bar and restaurant) are tastefully designed. Oh, and the staff is awesome!

Nothing - this was an ideal location for a short break (4 nights) for us.

Fantastic location high above the valley if you like walking, as we do. There are several possibilities of walking from the hotel over the nearby fell tops (map to buy 99NOK at reception). Free coffee/tea in reception at any time of day and very extensive breakfast included. We went in June, which was quiet and very good value B&B cost (if Norwegian prices give you a shock!).

It’s a little isolated — half an hour from Lillehammer up a winding road—but I loved that.
