When we checked in the person at the front desk ignored us for five minutes. She was talking on the phone. I assume taking a reservation. She did not even say sorry,I will be with you soon.

The staff, especially receptionist Ms. Islin! She went above and beyond at our very early arrival via Hurtigruten on the day of our arrival. She ensured an early check-in and free drinks and a snack for us. What an outstanding hospitality. Kudos to Ms. Islin! We also like the breakfast

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Centrally located with friendly, helpful staff and real sense of security, the view from our room was the cherry on top. The breakfast buffet is incredible, with every option you could desire, from full English, pancakes, bacon and eggs, to fresh fruit, müsli and even traditional Norwegian breakfast. Options are available for people with allergies and intolerances as well. Plus there's free coffee in the lobby whenever you fancy a cup. I will definitely be returning here.

The TV system sucked. I had to ask the reception how to use it. It was stuck showing the chromecast setup page. A guest shouldn't need a written manual on how to use the TV.

Right in the very heart of the Trondheim, can't get closer than that. Very nice and friendly staff, rich breakfast.

Air conditioning could not be switched off and there was a terrible draft; friendly staff but without any clue - not able to help with anything

We requested a quiet room and although room faced the courtyard in back, there was much loud noise from patrons sitting on back patio until around 1 am. And we were unable to sleep.

Staff very friendly and helpful with room choice and restaurant advice. Room was modern, clean and well thought out although bathrobes would have been appreciated.

Friendly staff. Modern room, with view on the neighbourhood (quiet and esthetic) and the fjord's bay, table and chairs. Great breakfast, Excellent location. Good restaurant communicating with the hotel, you don't need to get out of the building, which may be very useful considering the local weather.

The hotel trim has already "exhausted" and the room layout doesn't meet today requirements. IMHO due to the lack of comfortable and affordable hotels in Trondheim you will likely be forced to stay here...

Tiny room. Terrible view. Absurdly small bathroom. For the first visit and first use of the hotel, we expected that Superior Family Room would be spacious and family friendly. The room was small so that after all sleeping space was set it was nearly impossible to move around. The bathroom was so tiny and claustrophobic. It was of maybe 1.5m2. Never seen smaller bathroom. It was of a toilet size. The view was at the other hotel walls and staircase. This was room 303. Perhaps other Superior rooms are better. This was disappointing 😞

There was no room cleaning. The cleaning lady only came to pick up the used towels and left. She left us with only one towel for 3. We saw her in the corridor with a pile of clean towels carried together with brooms and cleaning products. The pile of towels felt down to the floor, she picked it up and we decided not to ask her for “clean” towels.

It is a big job to connect with the TV as you have to install an App in your phone. I mean if a business person go there might have no time do this all. I am using a TV in business trip to watch news while I am dressing or watch a bit just before go to bed. It is not worth to struggle with installing app and so on. We just need a TV connection that we can watch TV right away.
