Room heating was slightly difficult to control. We would have liked some more information about local points of interest and attractions and activities.

Decor was great. Room was comfortable. Value was good.

Lack of parking.

Even though it was a short stay, the location was great to explore the area. The staff were very helpful.

It was all good.

A lovely spacious reception, bar, and restaurant gave a very welcoming feel to the hotel. An excellent breakfast buffet selection and a bar that remains open until 2am. The rooms are clean and tidy with an excellent shower.

weird sustem where you can have a drink , very loud party could be heard on the fourth floor. reception of the party at the elevator where all other guests had ta pass is not a good idea..

I have no idea about the breakfast, cause I had an extremely early flight, however, if the room looks quite acceptable, then the halls definitely cry for renovation, same goes for elevators..

This hotel is in general ok and surely one of the best in Ålesund to stay, however I need to acknowledge, that when it belonged to the previous owner/hotel chain, I'd say it was a little better. Still the rooms are ok, quite comfy, bed is ok and the location is fine (however Ålesund is so small, that any centre location is fine). The iron in the room is modern and has the steam function, which is very important, when you travel on business and have to make your suits look nice and ready to wear after the suitcase.

Nothing just the price little bit expensive but almost same other hotels

1) Nice location “ Downtown” & wonderful staff. 2) Breakfast is delicious & varied. 3) only 10 Min to the main buss station & Port; so Easy to reach the most tourism places. 4) Halal Restaurants & supermarket can be reached easily. For Sure I’m going to rebook next time

there was a festival going on during the week we stayed, this meant that the flybussen would not reach the closest busstop to the hotel (which would have been 1 min away). instead, due to road closures the bus stopped at the main bus station (8-10mins walk away). would have appreciated if the staff had communicated this when we had contacted the property.. or if they had put up a notice to travelers informing us of the changes due to road closure so we would have prepared better having had 3 luggage with us..

Good rooms and convenient/scenic location. get an softis from the stall nearby and enjoy the harbour views!

Parking! This hotel has no own parking. We need to search parking on the street. Understand many people don’t come with car. But it would be more convenient for rent some street parkings for guests upon request.

The room was fine, though a bit tight and the ceilings were angled. And while we adjusted to the (new to us) way of using your key card to turn on the lights, this room seemed to be connected all on one circuit so we couldn't turn on lamps or the hot water for coffee without turning all the lights on in the room (while some of the family was still sleeping).

We appreciated having bunk beds since the kids don't share a bed well. The included breakfast was incredible! We couldn't believe it was free with the room. Everyone was very happy.

The room was poorly lit and so was the reception and restaurant area (which were all in one).

Lobby & restaurant a bit too quiet. I don’t know why.

Great location in the heart of this beautiful town & also slap bang on the water. Spacious lobby where we waited for hours because we were catching the Hurtigruten ferry at 00.30 am. The whole experience was very easy, calm & pleasant.
