    Liked it all!

We absolutely loved our stay at Reisa lodge! It is nestled in a beautiful valley in a remote part of Northern Norway, on the edge of a national park. We loved being totally surrounded by nature. The lodge is very comfortable and well maintained. Plus a hot tub on the roof! The restaurant wasn't open when we were there because there weren't enough people, but we actually loved being able to cook for ourselves. Overall it was a really unique and amazing stay. Huge thank you to Roar for making us feel so welcomed!

    Nothing at all!

The location, quietness, facilities are awesome. We were here with friends (booked 3 rooms) and had all the space to do whatever we wanted. The owner is a nice and easygoing fellow who does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For example, we wanted to make diner for ourselves and could use the professional kitchen to do so. We were welcome to use a big living room so we could be together by the fire to talk and watch the F1 qualifying on his 85" smart-TV. And to top it all off, we used the roof-top Jacuzzi to watch the Aurora/Northern Lights (see picture). Literally one of the best experiences we've had in a hotel... EVER!

Reisa Lodge was an absolute hidden gem. Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful part of the country. We only stayed one night which was a mistake as we could have easily spent much more time in the area. We will be back again in summer!

The lodge is well located inside the Reisa Park in front of the river. The owner - Mr Roar - and the wife are wonderful hosts, very nice and making you feel like if you are at your own home.

Roar saved us at very short notice because the road was closed and we were not able to get back to Alta. His lodge was so nice and cosy.

    - Exceptional lodge in the remotest of locations (Reisa National Park) - Variety of activities for winter and summer. We went in February and had an unforgettable time snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, husky sledding and ice climbing. - Peter, Roar and Radka were exceptional hosts / guides with an intimate knowledge of the region - We we’re lucky enough to see the northern lights right in the jacuzzi at the lodge - 10/10 experience, would return 100%

Unfortunately we were just one night in the lodge but it was perfect. The location is amazing and we got a very nice room with huge windows to the river. Hotel owner Roar is super friendly and very helpful. We definitely recommend the place.

    Everything was perfect.

We spent there couple of days with our friends - two families with kids in various ages. Whole lodge was at our disposal. Premises are very nice, clean and cosy. Surrounding Reisa national park area is magnificent - river, mountains etc. Hotel owner Roar is super friendly, very open in communication and very helpful, did his best for us to enjoy Norway in winter time (we will try to find time to come back and see Norway in summer season). Sitting with friends in warm jacuzzi bath tube on open roof terrace, enjoying drinks and observing northern lights playing in cold night sky is absolute once in a life time experience. Thanks to Roar for this free of charge service.

We were in the lodge all alone the first night. What a great experience and with the fireplace all to ourselves, we had a fabulous evening switching from sitting by the fire to watching the Northern Lights outside and back. Both mornings breakfast was ready to the agreed time and was tasty. Rooms were of good standard, nicely furnished and with good space.

The lodge is the perfect place to observe the Northern lights. You don’t have to go anywhere, just go to the roof and in the jacuzzi. We saw them 3/4 nights. The area is also beautiful. The room was just like in the pictures and the host Roar was very friendly and made our trip amazing. It’s also very easy to navigate in this part of Norway, although remote. You just need a car. The lodge can also help you with activities like dog sledging and other fun winter things to do. The area is beautiful in the winter, lots of great picture spots!
