To get to the reception there is a flight of steps making it difficult to carry luggage upstairs to the reception. After that there are lifts to the rooms

We had a comfortable stay and the location worked for us as it was not right in the city centre. The free parking was very good as we were driving around Scandinavia. Lots of fabulous restaurants around that was very handy for dinner. Front desk staff were helpful especially Guro who was exceptionally professional and very friendly and approachable

The room was lovely and been able to open windows is always a bonus. Breakfast was great and everyday there was something different which was a nice touch. The room wasn’t air conditioned and I suffered a little due to menopause…but understand not always required in Oslo. Bed was super comfortable, would stay again for sure.

The breakfast was terrific! We were also able to park for free just outside the hotel which was very convenient. We enjoyed the modern design of the room.

The room on the 4th floor was a converted attic, and the roof slanted severely, making only half the room usable. We were bumping our heads against the ceiling moving around the room.

The staff was always helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good, with good variety. It was located near shopping and several good restaurants...

We really enjoyed our time in the Saga Hotel. It is in a very nice and quite neighborhood yet close to the center which can be easily reached by walking. Free parking (limited spaces) is also a plus. Staff is very helpful and check in was very fast. We also enjoyed the rich breakfast which is a good start in the day of exploring the city. Overall, a nice, pleasant place to stay for a visit in the city. A go to address for our next stay.

This is a unique small hotel in Oslo. With Friendly staff, a home-like atmosphere and located in a central still quiet area, it is perfect for anyone who likes it small, cosy and good. I highly recommend this place, in particular also for the excellent breakfast they provide.

Not too close to the center but not too far either. We did not see the location as a problem as it is in a quiet neighborhood.

The hotel has a very stylishly decorated lobby area and stylish rooms. The staff is friendly. The breakfast variety was not much, but the ones were quite enough. The rooms were quiet, clean and the beds were very comfortable.

We liked everything.

The Saga was the perfect choice for our visit to Oslo. Our room was comfortable, clean, attractive,and quiet. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is included and is wonderful. Perhaps the best thing about the Saga is the location. It is in a much calmer setting than the city center, but easily accessible to everything. We walked to most places. It is a two block walk to access Oslo’s fantastic transit system. Great connection to local attractions and the airport.

Nothing - loved everything about the stylish small hotel.

The hotel is situated in a lovely area. Really enjoyed walking around and looking at the beautiful buildings. All the staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were fabulous and today we left with a wonderful packed breakfast as we had an early flight. This was immediately offered to us and I honestly can’t remember this ever having happened before at other hotels. It was a fabulous final touch.
