Nothing much. It is a bit older hotel, so of course there is some worn out. Nothing really bothered us as we had all what was needed. Clean, tidy, comfy.

It is a nice hotel of a known chain in Norway. We knew what we can expect. It was a very nice breakfast, possibility to use a pool and sauna. There is a gym, but we didn't use it this time. Walking distance to the Hurtigrutten. Bus stop just in front if you are travelling to the airport.

A one night stay in Kirkenes. We arrived quite late so only got to sample breakfast - which was very nice with a good range of food. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The hotel staff at reception were very pleasant. I'd certainly stay here again if I was passing.

Twin bed rather than double.

Exceptional breakfast. Convinient location. Good siize of the room. Nice swimming pool and sauna.

Friendly and helpful straff. Amazing (and lots of healthy) breakfast. Very comfy beds. The bus stopped outside the hotel.

Ventilation in the bathroom was poor

Room was clean and had huge windows, we had a good night’s sleep, breakfast was excellent and plentiful. There’s also a small sauna in the hotel.

Beds are not hard enough for my standard.

Very quiet hotel, with free parking, large room with all appreciated ammenities. Pool and sauna very welcome after a long day driving.

Nothing at all, very comfortable and enjoyable stay…Northern lights from our hotel window was a fantastic surprise.😁

Kirkenes is a lovely little town and Scandic is close to main square and the surrounding houses. Not far from the Hurtigruten Port and was a great place to stay for one night pre-cruise. We could have happily stayed longer 😊A taxi from the airport with the lovely Rals, a walk around town is easy and educational. Scandic restaurant was very good, delicious seafood chowder and breakfast was astonishingly copious in variety and quantity. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nothing totally recommend this hotel.

Great location, super helpful and friendly staff, good restaurant and food variety. Comfortable beds and awesome showers.. Nice quiet sitting area for guests. Even saw northern lights from bedroom window and adjacent park.

Hotel was great but we needed gluten free and there didn’t appear to be a choice for that in the restaurant for dinner. Breakfast wasn’t a problem. However this was the case for most of the food we could find online, so not unique - just a heads up. We ended up with things for dinner from the nearby Joker.

This was a great little hotel in the center of the small city. Our room with twin beds was plenty spacious and it was a real bonus having a bathtub with amazing hot water. WiFi was good. Breakfast had a variety and was delicious - plenty of good coffee. :) As we arrived by ferry, we were there too early to check in but it was easy to leave our luggage in a big locked storage room and wait in a very nice lounge area before an afternoon activity. Normally the bus stop from the harbor and to the airport stops right by the hotel - but we arrived the night of a sled dog race into the city center, so the bus was re-routed to stop on the Main Street below the hotel about 2 blocks away. I would absolutely stay here again.

Shame the restaurant was closed for a large group booking the evening we were there.

Well located in the centre of Kirkenes, a fifteen minute walk from the port. The airport bus stopped immediately outside. Reception staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Excellent breakfast.

Bathroom taps were both warm so couldn’t get drinking water. Room too hot.

Great location. Lots of space in the lobby and large lounge with kids play area. Didn’t use the pool or sauna but looked nice.

Too little staff by the reception desk during busy moments. There was only one person and it seemed that this person was responsible for the reception and the bar. We were waiting to buy some drinks to our room because there is no minibar in the room. But there was a note in the room saying that guests can buy drinks from the lobby. We waited by the bar but no one came because there was a big tourist group at the reception. We got our drinks from the local shop which is next to the hotel.

Excellent breakfast, good location close to everything and quiet room with comfortable beds.

The lobby is filled with passengers waiting for three o'clock sharp to check in

The hotel location is very convenient, the room is quite large, the scenery outside the window is great, the bed is also very comfortable, and there are a variety of breakfast options available
