Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GermanyI visit the Scandic Bystranda since many years. It´s always great, comfy and clean. Sometimes, mostly in summer also for Kristiansand overprized. From the hotel it´s easy to walk into the city or harbor and to the restaurants. Breakfast is amazing and everybody will for sure find something. I really liek the hotel.

NorwayFor a hotel like Scandic Kristiansand I would have expected, friendly staff also in the restaurant area, not just in reception. Also a water cooker to make tea or coffee in the room. Particularly when one arrives late at night from the cold.
The friendly and helpful staff at reception, the bunkbeds, my child was so happy to climb up! We stayed in winter, but there is a lovely view of the frozen little beach, right at the hotel.

GermanyOnly thing I really missed was my suitcase - but that was KLM´s fault. A kettle to make some tea would be a very valuable addition.
A very professional house but at the same time familiar. The restaurant serves very good food, there is a bar and many different places to sit and chat, all made up differently. Breakfast is buffet style with a lot of good things - all you would wish for.

GermanyWe choose this hotel for one night before catching a ferry to Denmark the next day. Close to the city and 10 min drive to the port. It’s a vey nice modern area and good for families in the mean of the rooms are family friendly and it is close to the beach and the swimming hall. Breakfast was very good, and we did not miss anything. Don’t miss walking down to the cute city center for a stroll through the shops.

NorwayParking could be included in the price. A kettle to cook coffee or tea in the room would make a big difference. And to have a little fridge in the room. The bicycles you can use are just a few and mine was in a quite bad condition.
Location was perfect and so was the breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. You can go directly to Aquarama. We had a nice view to the sea. A bicycle you can ride for free is a special extra.
