The receptionist and staff was really nice and polite. Big plus! And the breakfast is pure awesomeness, the best Scandic breakfast so far! Hotel room had seen better days, maybe a refreshment is needed in the near future… but all in all, it was clean and comfy.

On breakfast it was poor desert table. We was sleeping on two seperate beds, and they was unstable. The air in the room was far away to fresh air. And the worst thing, that they deducted money two times from my bank account (tomorrow I will be calling them), I was already paid when I was making reservation and second time the same price when I was making check out sad, that I saw this just second day...

The hotel and the rooms are very outdated and very dark. It’s one of those big, sad hotels you can find in many cities. Fine for 1 night but would never stay longer.

15min walking from ferry harbor. The uphill is a bit hard for two large suitcases. Airport shuttle only departures two times a day.

The room is spacious. Bathtub is good for relaxing.

I just booked six months in advance, and on the morning of arrival I received a text from the hotel, informing they had no room for me and they’d arranged alternative accommodation in a hotel nearby. On my arrival at the Scandic to clarify exactly what was going on, the receptionist knew little about it other than they had overbooked, and generally seemed disinterested, merely pointing me in the direction of the alternative hotel they had provided. Very poor customer service from the Scandic hotel.

Everything, we arrived 00:15 (keeping in touch with the hotel with our arrival time) the member of staff who welcomed us was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Perfect start to the holiday. Very informative and we couldn't ask for more. He was the best (didn't catch his name, but he be superb at his job. Breakfast is outstanding, the best we had in norway. So many different tasty options catering for all diets and preferences. We ate till stuffed and that was the perfect start to our day with a long drive ahead of us. Wish we booked for more than 1 night, 100% book this hotel. The stars should be higher, wow.

We did not stay in the Scandic Kristiansund - we were told a couple of days before our stay that due to overbooking, we had been moved to the Thon Storgata. This was surprising to us as we had booked our accommodation over 5 months beforehand. We were told that the rooms in our new hotel were smaller but better than the Scandic Kristiansund, but we obviously do not know if this is true. We were not given any recompense for the inconvenience and were only given a bottle of Pepsi and a few sweets for our trouble.

Friendly staff. We arrived at 3:00 AM on a ferry. Someone was there to greet us and present us with the keys. Others provided very accommodating service for our needs. Highly recommend.

We are overbooked and thema first they tried Thathat we must pay again. Next day they Told me to pay again and that we hotel refund from the otter party . Very strange Answering e-mails NO Electricity was very bad, and very dangerous for childeren

The way the booking was handled could be improved from specific angles. overbookings can happen, but the way this was communicated only a day in advance doesn’t deserve a positive mention. arriving at the room that was booked for three people and only bedlinnen for two persons, towels only for two wasn’t especially helpful either. so some room for improvement on your side.
