Had a lovely stay at the Scandic Lilliestrom. Hotel right beside train and bus stations, making it very easy to get to Oslo and the airport. Room very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice. Definitely would return to this hotel.

Excellent stay only 10 min from Oslo airport. It is located in the front of the train station and with the perfect connection to the airport and Oslo. Everything was perfect. They have an exceptional breakfast buffet and great place for the dinner as well.

Quite new, nice and clean hotel in the center of Lillestrøm, right next to Lillestrøm station, 12 minutes from the airport by train. (Flytoget) Own restaurant. Refrigerator in the room. Good parking opportunities in park garages in the neighboring building. (pay parking)

I didn’t like the conflict restaurant/bar/lobby in the space. I was there with my parrot to meet other parrot people. As Scandic is a pet friendly hotel, we usually go for it. Unfortunately there was an event going on in the big table right in the lobby while we were waiting to meet other people in the “lobby”… which basically consists into 2 chairs near the reception counter. The rest of the space is a bar, maybe guests can sit there but it isn’t a Scandic lobby such as you find in most hotels in the price range. The problem was honestly the amount of noise coming from a table of guys having a bachelor party. The parrots started screaming so we tried to find another place, but there is only the restaurant all around. As pets cannot be inside restaurants we were pushed out to the lobby again in a not very relaxed tone, but the worse was the guy in the reception. When I approached him, he suggested me to put the birds in the luggage room 🙄😐. Considering the price range, I really expected a better trained stuff to deal with such thing, specially because there is no favor. If pets weren’t allowed, we obviously could search for another solution. Overall the stay was nice, but it could be better if there was a better prepared stuff and a better designed lobby. It would avoid inconveniences that I wish I didn’t have for the price payed.
