The room is super small and the bathroom even smaller. Since the apartments are not restored the impression is a little bit worse, and also during the night it can get a little bit cold.

The apartments are very convient with all facilities you need for your stay.

The cabin didn't look in a nice shape. It had a common bathroom outside and a bit far away from it, and the furniture of the cabin was very old and partly ruined.

The beds and pillows are not that comfortable. In general the furniture is outdated. There are common shared bathrooms and a kitchen.

The location is very good and also our room was very clean. The value for money is also very good. It is very cheap and there shouldn’t be higher expectations than what you get.

We moved to a cabin on the property because we felt the room was a bit worn down.

The mattress were very thin and made from memory foam. So after a while, you sunk in and started feeling the wooden bed planks.

The landlady was very accommodating and polite. We arrived very late, but she was happy to answer any questions and check us in despite the late hour. She was also very fast to respond to any emails. The rooms were very clean and even though the bathroom was tiny - you did not have to share it. Very close to the ferry port

The beds are very loud (room 2) if you move you hear everything. Also there were very noisy neighbours who cooked and made party until 2am, we heard them all the time even though we used ear plugs. The room was quite dirty and you have to buy bedsheets if you don't want to sleep in the sleeping bag in the used bed. It would also be great to have some double rooms. If there are 4 people in the 4 bed room and each person pays 14€, the price value is ok. But we paid 73€ with the sheets (2 people) and for that money we got a better hotel even at LOFOTEN island...

It's close to the ferry, so it's practical to reach. Also the reception is open until 22:30, that's also good.

Nothing is really cheap in Norway, but Solvang Ferietun is the closest thing to what we would call budget accomodation. The surprising thing is, that is not as Spartan as we would expect for that much money. The rooms are small, but comfy, and they have a sitting area. Weather permitting you can ave you brewakfast /dinner on the terrace, and te view what you can see from there is aboslutely stunning. Vangsnes is the end of the road, and the hostel is only a minute from the ferryport, that connests Vangsnes with the other part of the region. Vik, with the closest supermarket and other amenities is only 10-15 minutes.

The beds were really uncomfortable, woke up sore from it. We also had to pay 300 Nok extra for the bedsheets and towels, making it not budget anymore. The shower was just disgusting. Mold on the shower curtain and at the bottom of the shower bin. If we didn't have slippers, we probably wouldn't have showered. Only stayed there because it was on our roadtrip and all other places were fully booked. Don't stay here unless your other option is sleeping out in the rain or you are extremely budgetary and have your own bedlinen, towels and don't care for a moldy shower. Oh and extra detail: the room we had, had a hole in the glass window which was plugged with cheap tape! Not ever coming back here again.

Staff was very nice though... Good contact and willing to wait for later check-in. Location also excellent. This place could be great if they renovated.

The weather, it was raining BUT it adds to the adventure as we drove tru the mountains and drove on the clouds all the way to this Nice little spot.

Nice location near the biggest fjord in all of norway, great hiking spot to a giant 12 meter statue.
