In winter there is a lot of snow, so it's not possible to use the terrace (understandably). We wanted to film the night sky from the terrace, but did not realized that it will not be accessible as the door is opening towards the snow.

An excellent place for exploring of Sommaroy island. The building is not so far from the hotel, right at the marina with the views to the ships and boats. We had an excellent food in the main restaurant (dinner).

Exeptionally good breakfast with a broad range of choices of bread, croissants, dairy produkta and muesli. Best breakfast I ever had in a hotel.

There was nothing about the hotel that we didn't like - only the weather was disappointing!

The girl on Reception was particularly helpful with advice on the ferry and also where to go to climb Ornfloyer and she also let us know about the coffee and tea.

We had dinner there, the hamburger is fine but fish is not that good.

Good location for taking the ferry. Property is clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great!

The dishwasher kind of didnt work because you couldnt close it properly.

The view was really magnificent. Surrounding of the hotel was very nice. Kitchen was well equipped just fine. Complimentary tea/coffee. Very cozy feel.

The Hotel is located in a very beautiful setting, and is well appointed with very helpful staff and great customer service. It is very modern with nice amenities and is very clean. The buffet breakfast is outstanding, and the restaurant serves great food. The main hotel has three levels with various size rooms and great views all around. There are additional cabins/accommodations for larger groups. All is within a very scenic setting, overlooking the Norwegian Sea. For those wishing to be close to TromsØ, please note that this location is approx. 35 (50Km) miles from the city, and it takes about an hour to traverse the windy roads, albeit with amazing scenery. A rental car would be a necessity, but well worth it if you want to explore the area.

The hotel is wonderful. Rooms are very cozy, you can adjust your own temperature. Bathroom was specious. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast selection was spectacular, so many varieties from warm foods to tasty croissants and even selection of plant based milks. The location is perfect, away from the city, but within reach or some hiking options and of course the northern lights are clearly visible there.

The staff was very kind. Great support the explanation of the tour of Aurora and I was very worried about whether I could get a taxi to pick me up, but he kindly consulted with me.

The bathing house was closed, but then it was very much winter season

Amazingly remote location, yet easily reached by an excellent and cheap bus service. Very good sauna, comfortable room, great buffet breakfast, and dinner in the restaurant was very good, though expensive, but that’s Norway
