The only thing I would say is a lack of electric plugs in the kitchen area which meant swapping stuff around - microwave, coffee maker, kettle etc. Not ideal.

Self-catering cabin in the mountains. Great views and plenty of space in the cabin. Very peaceful. Friendly welcome. Great location for mountain walks.

This was definitely our best stay in Norway. A lovely wooden cabin in a stunning surrounding. It was real quiet there. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It was spacious. We especially loved the floor heating in the living room and the barbecue outside. We used that one night. The beds were really good and it had a washing machine and a dish washer. We also ate at the Stardalen Sommarkafe. Excellent food for that price. The supermarket is only a 15 minute drive to Skei. There are many lovely and challenging walks nearby. We did the one to the Haugabreen glacier and that was tough. You can hire the towels and bed linen. The beds were already made.

We did miss having access to internet and wifi as we were travelling and booking as we went but it is in a wooded area so may not be possible. We drove 15mins into the village of Skei for internet and cafe use.

Nice small fireplace in livingroom (especially for cold weather after hiking). Very good facilities (there is washing machine, dishwasher, toilet, shower and all nescessary for everyday living) also everything for cooking etc. Good environment, river nearby and Summerkafe where you get nice food and kind service. Hiking tracks around and local farming were noted all around :) Good looking house (looks like a real Norway cottage especially roof- very original) Comfort terrace (patio) to take a dinner and have a glass of wine. Sleeping beds comfort and clean :)

The check in process is not clearly detailed. The keys need to be picked up from a cafe which is located about 1km from the site of the apartments. Very odd. We also couldn't get the dishwashed to work at all. Not sure if it waa broken, disconnected or we weren't pressing the right buttons. We were initially concerned about the apartment only having under floor heating but it turned out to be very cosy.

The apartments are in an amazing location right in the middle of the mountains (i know, Norway is basically a giant mountain range). The beds were very comfortable and the facilities were excellent for our 4 night stay. I highly recommend these apartments.

The wi-fi could be improved. We’ve used our own mobile hotspot. Honestly, we haven’t care about TV but just for the record, there were only 2 broadcasts available…… not all the time. We’ve used our Apple TV streaming channels😁

Fresh mountain air filled with a mixture of smells, from flowers to freshly cut grass. Returned to pure nature but keeping all civilization advantages. Good spot for short visit to Stryn and Loen, and excellent 2 nights pitstop on our way to Bergen
