The view of the fjords from our room was perfect, and the decor of the guesthouse offers a wonderfully classic aesthetic. Highly recommended. Ｗe accidentally left a backpack at the guesthouse which the host Joe kindly mailed back to us. Very much appreciated.

Wow Joe and his parents were so nice and helpful. We are travel in Norway for two weeks and no one helps us like Joe. The house is so clean and have everything you need. Very recommended.

Those was an unforgettable stay! The Guest House staff was beyond welcoming. They were kind, helpful, and wonderful to talk to! The house was in the perfect location with only a 5 minute walk to the town center and the most amazing view of the fjord. 11/10 would recommend!

Neither of the two (male) staff members offered to help me when I was struggling with two flights of stairs with 3 bags! Curtains and walls are quite thin, so ear plugs and eye shield recommended.

Hot powerful shower, underfloor heating, spacious rooms and common areas, spotlessly clean, amazing views from my sea facing bedroom and the communal balcony.

We couldn't fault our stay at Svingen Guesthouse. The house was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Kitchen facilities were great and all facilities were perfectly clean. Rooms were great too. Location was excellent and one of the best in Flåm, in our opinion. It made our stay in Flåm so relaxing. Special mention to Joe for making us feel so welcome - we loved your company! Thanks for everything.

The walls were too thin, had difficulties sleeping as the guest next door was snoring. The room smelled weird, but it was bearable, not sure if it was the incense or if the previous guests had smoked in there.

The house was cozy and had a spectacular view of the fjord. The toilet, kitchen, and other common spaces were spick and span. Had a wonderful time talking with the hosts too.

I would recommend that a sign for the guesthouse is put up outside as we walked past it and had to Google the property to make sure we had the correct one.

Just returned and we loved our stay here! We usually stay in hotels so this was a little different for us but when I was looking for accommodation in Flåm I spotted this and so glad I did! Our room overlooked the Fjord and it was such a stunning view. The guest house itself is immaculately clean and it genuinely feels like you have stepped back in time as it’s been renovated so well with beautiful furniture. The shared facilities for us weren’t an issue- we never needed them when anyone else was using them. Joe recommend the floating sauna which is just outside the property and it was one of the best things we need on our 2 week Scandinavian trip! It’s also just a couple of minutes walk along the fjord boardwalk to the railway station.

One of the best places I have ever stayed. The house is filled with love and warmth, it is very soulful and peaceful. The staff is wonderful and super friendly. It is incredibly beautiful both inside and outside. You really don't want to leave such places, and when you leave, you want to come back.
