It was a stopover stay during our roadtrip- and we are glad we chose Thon- it's comfortable, and centrally located with an exceptional breakfast spread! The staff is warm and friendly. There are parking spots nearby (paid) so that is not a problem too.

The staff - especially at reception - was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Coffee, tea and espresso were available in the lobby at all times. The room was comfortable, though relatively small. The breakfast was excellent and the location perfect. Very positive experience.

My room was hot. I never followed up with the front desk about it. It was definitely a thermostat issue. I was too tired to deal with changing rooms, but I know it was an option. I had called the front desk about it.

Breakfast start from 6.30 am, should consider your guest will catch a speedboat at 7 am scheduled.The day before we check out Breakfast supervisor told me to provide a paper box which-we can pick any food and go. But never happen , one of the girl on that morning offer me a white paper I can pick up only plain pancake . These unacceptable quality of the staff in the breakfast room for Thon hotel which we believe the best in town

The checkIn guy was really disappointing He was a Bit Rude, cold and seems that every questions was annoying to him…. The Coffee machine which is free in the Lobby (Great Service) was not looking very clean and hygienic, so we didn‘t tried the Coffee in the Lobby …

Very comfortable rooms and Comfy beds BUD we had 2 twin bed which was made to one doublebed But the beds where sliding apart which was very annoying! Great breakfast with a Lot of coices and the staff was great at the buffet! Location is really good and it had a terrace in the 6th floor

My room didn't have a fridge, there were no laundry facilities, and the AC didn't seem to work (although, to be fair, I could have asked the staff who could probably have helped me). Other than that, it was an awesome stay. I'd love to go back.

The lovely lady at reception offered me an early check-in which allowed me to start sightseeing earlier. My room had the most beautiful view over the harbour, the ferries, yachts, people fishing, and children playing on the playground. The hotel is a two minute walk from the bus station and the ferries. Loved the sweets in the room and having face washers.

Nothing to complain, there was no parking available but hotel staff gave us good alternative options! Our minibar contained an opened pack of crisps (sneaky previous tenant), no problem and was resolved without any issues! Excellent service.

Back in Harstad once again, we came back to Thom Hotel. Reception was lovely and we even got another sea view room. Also got a good hint concerning parking as the hotel parking was full, but there's free options just down the road during the night which fit well with our flight plans. Breakfast was amazing again and we'll happily come back again to Thon in Harstad

We could only stay one night. Minor point for improvement: since you offer lose tea for breakfast in amazing tea pots, you could consider adding little milk cans to bring milk to the table. This would be the final detail for a fantastic breakfast!

Arriving way too late due to cancelled flights, the staff gave us such a warm welcome that we directly felt much better. We had an excellent room with a view on the sea. Perfectly equipped. Breakfast is amazing!

Fantastic, but the coffee and yoghurt ran out, and I had to ask for refills both times, having to wait quite a while. It was a very busy day however, so this is minor.

The breakfast choice was excellent, and the location fantastic. The reception area (and room) is beautifully decorated, and the offering of the coffee and tea is very much appreciated.

There was nothing special not to be liked.

Breakfasts were excellent, view from the room on the harbour, sea and fjords was amazing and quiet peaceful neighborhood was as pick as by my choice. Another point I liked and rarely can be found in hotels is, "a room window can be opened and provide us fresh, polar cap, air", there was no even need for heating to be used in the room to be pleasant. Also, fresh self serving coffee, tea and small sweets can be found in the lobby of the hotel, any time and free of charge.

Good: we were encouraged not to waste food; not so good: there was so much choice and food, that the hotel must be wasting a lot themselves? Waste bins do not encourage separating types of waste. Not a good idea to put wine so clearly on display in yhe room (price astronomical, and addiction issue)

Quiet and spacious hotel. Excellent reception area. Room area and view of harbour wonderful. Well stocked breakfast area, good coffee.
