Everything was excellent. We arrived in the morning and the hotel was able to get us into a room well before the check-in time of 3 pm. The room was super - clean, attractive, comfortable, everything that was needed. We faced the street (we asked for that, even though we had the option of a room facing the back) and there was some noise from the Jazz Club across the way until 2 am (Oslo Jazz Festival was on)- but this did not bother us too much. The staff were super friendly, effusively helpful in the breakfast room. The hotel is very conveniently located - we could walk everywhere in the city. When we left we took the Fyltoget train to the airport from the National Theater train stop, a 10-min walk from the hotel).

The breakfast was BEYOND amazing. The staff, in the hotel & restaurant, were so wonderful. They were kind, helpful, and just overall great. We will definitely stay there again when/if we go back to Oslo. You can walk to everything easily. It can get loud on the streets at night but we happened to be there at a time when all the kids are back at school & it's their "party week". We really enjoyed Oslo & the Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz!

The room was in great condition. The hotel is in an excellent location being walking distance to the major attractions in Oslo. The breakfast is amazing. On par with or better than most 5 star hotels. There's a great variety of food.

I spend around 60 nights per year in hotels, and the buffet breakfast at Thon Rozenkrantz Oslo is the best I have ever had: unbelievable. Huge choice, high quality, high quantities, and comfortable eating room.

The staff at the reception were very kind, helpful, etc. We were travelling as family with 9 persons, 3 of them are over 75 years old and they had very often special request, which was wounderful handled by the staff. The breakfast was outstanding. The freshness and the variety of food was remarkable. The staff was as well very responsive. The location was good it was close to the city centre. Bars, restaurant and a supermarket are close by. It could get noisy in the night if you have a room faced to the streets with the bars. But it does not bother us at all.

Our window looked out over the breakfast conservatory. Not the best view but this really didn’t bother us.

Room was very well presented and comfortable, the breakfast is outstanding best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Location is very convenient. Staff were welcoming, even at 2am when we checked in after a late flight. Well kitted out gym! Would stay again.

This is the second time I'm in Oslo and the second time I have stayed in this hotel. It has a really good central location, clean rooms with comfy beds, lovely breakfast, everyone from the staff is really nice and helpful! I would definitely stay there again :)

There was no restaurant for lunch/dinner or a bar for a cocktail.

The receptionists: Victoria, Matilda, Daniel and Maria - excellent. They exceeded my expectations. Always willing to help. Welcomed me by name when I was in the reception area (only at the hotel 3 nights). Additionally, the breakfast was excellent as well as the staff who greeted. I would highly recommend this hotel! Location - perfect.
