There’s not much in the immediate area. However, if you have a car, you can easily get around. It would be great if there was an electric car charger at the property, but there is one about 15 minutes drive away.

The guesthouse was delightful! My room was comfortable and modern, equipped with everything I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is a restaurant at the property that is popular with guests and others staying locally. They were extremely accommodating and were even able to cook me something outside of their regular opening hours. They serve a variety of Thai and Norwegian options. It felt like a home away from home. The guesthouse is perfectly located for hikes like Trolltunga. Highly recommended!

Hard to find reception

The room was clean. The location is good. The facilities are located near the main road but far enough away that you don’t hear any road noise. The breakfast buffet is good.

Like most European rooms, not much space.

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast/inn. The staff was friendly and the breakfast had many offerings. Dinner (Thai food) at the inn was great as well.

Quite close to a busy road but well protected by the garden

Loved returning to Ullensvang gjestehim. It’s a charming and beautiful place to relax after a days hiking. Well located for trolltunga and queen sonja hike, plus husedalen waterfalls. The garden is beautiful and the Thai food is incredible. Owners and staff are very helpful.

We stayed in the self contained unit, a few km away from the main guesthouse. It was a great location , meters from the fjord, which we swam in after doing the fabulous Queens walk on a hot sunny day.

Nothing, loved my stay.

Loved, loved, loved this place! Much better than the photos. Great host, you can even have dinner there which was delicious. Next to this place is a cute church and a small area where you can swim with the best view ever of a mountain. Definitely recommend!

The water in the shower doesn't drain fast enough and it gets a bit wet all around. Otherwise very spacious. .

As all traditional buildings, it has a narrow staircase, no elevator, no fridge Someone might not like having windows facing the waterfall, it is quite noisy (on the other hand, you do not hear the cars passing by)

We had a perfect stay in the guesthouse. The rooms are spacious, and the Thai food in the local restaurant is fantastic. The staff was exceptionally helpful, they gave us recommendations and even helped us get back to the guesthouse when we were stranded some villages away due to an avalanche. We highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful apartment right on the waterfront with views of the fjord. Large living room, comfortable bedrooms. Very clean and nice. We was happy to stay in this apartment

Really, nothing.

The evening meal provided in the restaurant was excellent, and the service was very personal and friendly. The breakfast was probably the best one that we had in Norway. Because of the friendly atmosphere it was easy to chat with other guests during dinner and breakfast, which added to the enjoyment.

A really nice place. The location is amazing. On one side the river, on the other the fjord and the mountains with waterfalls behind it and the mountains filled with apple trees on the third side. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was very good. I don’t think there was anything we would’ve changed with this accommodation. Next time we’re in the area, we know where we’ll be staying!
