Great location, beautiful scenic walk by the waterfall to the village or trail paths from the front door for more energetic hikes. Hotel was lovely, staff were great. For dinner I opted for pizza in the bar area which was delicious, and breakfast was excellent. Pool area was also great.

Cost of charging an electric vehicle is high for hybrid models (250 NKR).

Breakfast and buffet dinner are excellent. The hotel offers alergen information in all dishes and alternatives are available (eg. Lactose free milk, yoghurt, cakes...).

The rooms themselves are a bit "vintage" and could use an update and maybe a bit more decor / furniture - as the room itself is quite spacious and otherwise feels a bit empty. I did like the access to the pool but would definitely recommend also including the spa access for hotel guests. The spa and pool are 2 separate areas and you have to pay for access to certain areas (steam room, resting rooms, Japanese hot tub). In my case the steam room (which I actually wanted to visit) was out of order, so the only additional thing I paid for was the Japanese hot tub. Other than that I'd say access to the pool is absolutely sufficient as it has a sauna and outdoor hotter pool too.

The hotel is a beautiful, cozy and big accommodation that feels just like a proper skiing holiday. It was beautifully located and really offered the scenic views as described. The breakfast was really amazing! I loved the selection and beautiful breakfast room with views to the fjord. Parking right outside the hotel and access to amazing hikes. The staff was super friendly and helpful!

The staff in the breakfast buffet is reserving all the nice view table for guest coming on lunch time. For 2 days I have asked for a table with a view which was available but they refuse to give it to me because it was prepared for guest coming on lunch time. The old lady with white hair told me in a very rude way: tou have all day to enjoy the view and you can sit in the lobby for that!!! Sorry but not she is the one who will decide where I have to enjoy the view👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Parking spaces are pretty limited. We had to park in the Fjord center right across the street, that also had charging stations with a much more reasonable price.

location is amazing - we got a room with a view towards the fjord, as well as the room being spacious. The staff was very helpful too - we needed a cattle to make coffee, as well as had a problem with the washing machines of the hotel - the staff came quickly and were very helpful. The spa facilities are also great - the sauna and outside pool are open from early morning until very late at night, allowing enough time to relax and enjoy the facilities. Breakfast was pretty average compared to the other hotels I visited on this trip to Norway, which is good.

The only thing not so good was the breakfast. Felt a bit too cheap for such an expensive hotel - also considering the amazing dinner we had the night before in the restaurant à la carte. The staff serving breakfast were also very stressed and not exactly friendly.

Amazing facilities, the spa was extraordinary. We had a great room with gorgeous view to the fjord and a big and cozy bathroom. Loved the vibe of the hotel and will definitely be coming back!

Super hotel. During my entire trip to Norway, this hotel had the best service. The hotel is located close to a wonderful fjord. The hotel has a wonderful spa and outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the fjord. My family and I had a great evening at the bar yesterday. Breakfast is incredible.

While most of the staff were helpful and friendly, some of the reception staff seemed to have struggled to respond to daily greetings. Also, we were left waiting for 20 minutes for a table having booked one prior.

A great location with stunning views of Geiranger fjord. The room was very spacious and well equipped. The swimming pools and sauna are fantastic additions.

The bathrooms were a bit small for the room.

We were absolutely fascinated by the history of the hotel. The concept was also great. I recommend you to see the old car collection in the hotel. We had a very comfortable and quiet stay.
