The room was quite small for two people but enough for one night stay. Sometimes you had to wait until the kitchen or bathroom was available (but that is expected).

There was everything we needed in the kitchen. Big living room and terrace. Two bathrooms for so many people were great, there was even sauna in one of them.

We have spent most of Norway not speaking to any Norwegians - the hotels are self-service - use a code to get in - find your key - go to your room - you never meet a Norwegian in Norway and this is no exception.

Our room for 3 people was tiny and a bit expensive for its size. While the house is located directly on the water with a beautiful view, the town of Ballstad is not the best location compared to other locations on Lofoten.

The location and villa are very nice just by the water and it has a fully equipped kitchen. There are only 2 bathrooms that are shared by all rooms, so sometimes you must wait for them to be free, but both are very clean. There is also a sauna, but again you have to wait after the others; as some people spent a lot of time in the sauna, we could not use it. It is a little bit noisy in the morning, but this is normal for a shared house (if you do not like this type of accommodation then I would recommend to look for something else). The common areas were nice and clean.

A fairy taile house. Beautiful surroundings, and such a nice living room and Kitchen where you can find anything you need for your stay. There are 2 bathrooms which few rooms can use, both very clean. There is also a suana. Our room was a triple room cute and small as expected. 100% recommended!

There are only 2 bathrooms for all the rooms. Sauna is in the main bathroom, there are no instructions, so other guests spent there hours blocking it. Room is very small for the price.

This is an old building with very squeaky doors and floor and thin walls. So, one can hear any door being opened or closed and even hear any conversation (in normal voice) in the neighbor rooms. While the house is located directly on the water with a nice view. the town of Ballstad isn't the greatest location -- in comparison to other locations on the Lofoten. From that perspective, I would not choose it again as a starting point for tours throughout the Lofoten.

Considering that this is a shared bath, shared kitchen arrangement, everything was very clean and well maintained. I was afraid that it would be like a Hostel with people partying half the night and leaving things trashed but this was not the case. Everyone was very considerate and tried to be as quite as possible and to leave the bathrooms and kitchen in a clean state.

I don't remember the last time I slept in a singel bed, so not the best sleep this stay.

It felt like home with a well equiped kitchen. Nice to have the diving facility just nerby. Peacefully place with a view.

It’s in a very nice area, close to almost everything and easy to go to different places by car. Saw the northern lights right outside and from the window both days I stayed!

It was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in....ever! I ended up putting the thin mattress onto the floor. Sleeping on the floor was more comfortable than the bed. The walls were thin. I could hear every single sound from everyone else. Someone came in at midnight, and made noise for an hour.  I am not well rested today.

Shared bathroom might cause some waiting time.

Beautiful view, great location, accessible by bus. The house is traditional and super pretty. With large windows and wooden terrace for grilling or enjoying sun. Easy checkin. Fully equiped kitchen. Lots of common space in the first floor.
