How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I didn't like that it didn't have a restaurant. And there was only one kind of beer at the bar .
It was quiet, the room was clean and tidy.The breakfast was delicious .

I would recommend to install in rooms small refrigerator. Breakfast are same every morning but for a few days stations its ok.
Very nice hotel with free parking near hotel. Clean rooms. Very hospital personal that helped me with all questions.

Very good Customer Service! The staff was very welcoming & friendly! The breakfast was great! The decoration had a minimal, simple, modern, Scandinavian style! To sum up, everything was perfect! I would definitely visit it again! 😊🇳🇴🫶🏻❄️

Very cold bathroom without any option to heat it.

It would be nice to have a dining option in evenings - even if simple.
Very comfortable beds. Quiet location and on the UiS campus. The apartment kitchen was very useful. The breakfast buffet is generous. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Location is good if you want a quiet place and if you have a car. We liked everything about this hotel; was very clean, big room, friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious because they use some fresh local products. (pesto, butter, bread)

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very kind and helpful. The location is great if you attend events at UiS - and also well connected (by bus) to the city center. The breakfast was also a plus. If interested, there is also the option to rent the conference room, which is great for professional events. Overall, a great stay.

Charging facility didn't work however during the weekend there is plenty of parking space available near by with charging facility at a very low price rate. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant so you need to order food if you don't want to get out to the city.

Nothing because, by reading previous guests reviews, we were aware that there are not restaurants nearby.
The receptionist was very very kind. Since nearby there are not restaurants he gave us suggestions of different places with different budget. Our room was very clean and confortable. The atmosphere in common areas was very relaxing. Good breakfast although the food should be covered. We experienced people heavily breathing and coughing on it (COVID hasn't taught anything).

The AC was quiet loud: unfortunately you cannot turn off the AC. The breakfast was good, but nothing special. We have been to other hotels, especially in Oslo, where the breakfast was way better.
This was our second stay in this hotel. The staff was really friendly. The are of the hotel is nice. It is really modern, stylish and very clean.

We loved everything about the place and stuff. The hotel was beautiful. The room was great. When we arrived, Kinga welcomed us and gave us some valuable tips. The following day, we had a lovely breakfast, and again, the team was very friendly. We would definitely come back
