I had an amazing time at Bamby chilling house! I originally planned to stay only three nights but ended up staying 7 nights because the atmosphere, the room, the food, and especially the staff were so nice! The hotel is located right by the river and I was able to watch animals right from my balcony. All of the family members (it’s a family run hotel) were so excited to point out the different animals to me and immediately informed me if there was something to see. I left today and already miss it. I will definitely come back to this magical place! Also highly recommend booking tours directly with them. I did the full-day walking tour and the bike tour to the twenty thousand lake. Both tours were amazing and the tour guides were the absolute best. The guides knew so much about the animals and the nature and I felt safe during the whole trip!

The location is beautiful - nestled right next to the river and across from the preserve - and the family is lovely! Extremely knowledgeable about the area, helpful with booking tours, and just all around great people.

Since we were there for almost a week we wanted to relax there for a bit. I woud have loved to have some laying beds there!

Bambi Chilling House is great. Me and my boyfriend stayed there for 5 or 6 days and we had a great time. The family is super nice and super helpful. Moreover they provide all the necessary services. Regarding the rooms we have nothing to complain. Good electricity and there’s a fan in the room. During our stay it was about 30 degrees outside but no trouble sleeping. Wifi is also good with a 5g connection. Really nothing to complain about, especially for such low prices.

The location was fantastic, rooms were cute, and the river view was peaceful. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always wearing smiles and displaying a positive attitude. We arranged a walking safari tour through them, and the guides were not only friendly and with great energy, but also highly experienced, making us feel completely at ease. The food was delightful, and the packed sandwiches we enjoyed during the safari were especially satisfying. If you’re considering staying here, look no further—just book it!

The design of the room with attached bathroom is very unique. Place was unexpected it was so beautiful with Nature view, food was delicious, friendly staff, clean room . Best river view point with Nature.

Everything was great

A rustic quaint village style bungalow accomodation. Just out of town (10 min walk) overlooking the river and Chitwan National Park. Rooms were basic super clean and hygienic. Shower was gravity feed so not strong pressure and was a bit tricky to get just right but when you did there was plenty of hot water. Toilets were new and modern. Don't expect luxury or air con but you will get friendly staff, fresh food cooked on demand, well maintained rooms and gardens, local feel with chickens, a cat and dog and if you are really really lucky a rhino wandering past!

Everything was great only the mattresses of the beds could be a bit softer.

It was amazing I loved it! When I arrived I could see a rhino directly in front of my room crossing the river it was so close I was absolutly enthusiastic! Its so nice quiet there amd you can see a lot of other animals during the day. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I also made the whole day jungle walk and it was so cool! The guides where so friendly know a lot about the animals and the nature and their english was really good. Could definitly recommend this place and I will come back!

Unfortunately I couldn't get hot shower.

Location is perfect. You'll have a beautiful river view with delicious meals. Also you can enjoy taking a walk seeing old traditional houses. Tours are good as well. I joind three professional guided tour. Price is really reasonable, so I you should join the tour.

Perhaps can consider water bottle or water re-fill for other days as well, as we only get only 2 free water bottles on first day of check in only. So far other hotels in nepal offer free water on daily basis. Bathroom can install more hooks to hang towels. Shower heads can be improved for better shower experience.

Super positive experience 3 great reason to stay here. 1st - the staff was so trusting and helpful to help in booking the jungle tours in advance. They can arrange everything from jungle walk, jeep safari, cultural tour, bus booking to kathmandu, pre-packed breakfast and short commute via tuk tuk to chitwan city. And best of all the price is super reasonable. 2nd - the calmness of the resort especially viewing the river at anytime of the day. If you want a good connection with nature, river and appreciate some silence from heavy music. This is the best place to be in. It has limited units of cabins, which means less number of humans. And they have several sheltered verandahs for one to sit and appreciate the river view. It feels tranquil , peaceful and nature feel. 3rd - the jungle walk is a must and highly recommended. We are accompanied by 2 guides who brought us to canoe river trip followed by jungle walk resting in several tree top inside the jungle. For us who are rather unfit, we think half a day especially noon to evening will be good enough for the walk. We took the full day and recorded 26K steps for the day , feeling rather tired at th end of day. The evening jungle walk was an adventurous one as we had a close encounter in spotting a wild rhino from a distance. The guide prioritised safety and got us to leave together once we got a nice shot of the rhino on phone. Walking on safari observing animals that might pop up amidst the sunset view at the safari was a truly memorable one. Please do leave a tip to the guides as they are really dedicated professional and nice.

So much to like. The warm smiles from the staff whenever you walk up to reception or see them in the property, the view from pretty much anywhere on the property, the clean rooms, the tasty food, the sounds of the nature around you, the quietness due to not being so close to the main street, the friendly guests who we were able to meet, the stories and useful information from their in-house jungle guide, and so much more. We had a fantastic stay and if we ever come back to Chitwan, we're coming straight to Bamby House!

Could do with another fan in the room as one standing fan wasn't enough for 2 beds in the heat. No hot water for showers most of the time, but in the heat this isn't the end of the world.

Lovely quiet location on the river with a great view. Super nice staff who helped us with everything, including buses, tuk tuks and tours. They have everything you need in terms of food and drink, but the centre of town is only a short walk away as well.

So I've been staying in Bamby Chilling House for 3 nights, and right at the first time, I saw rhino from the hostel, In the night, it was a wonderful experience for me. I am so grateful for this experience.

I give full mark for Bamby Chilling. My room have more than enough sockets and lighting. The fan is super powerful. The buff momo, masala tea, omlet is very yummy. The staff, brother and sister very hospitality, they know what tourists needs. Their arrangements are very reliable. Their big smile and very nice attitude bright up my days. I slept 2 nites very well with hot shower. No mosquito was found in this lodge and it's surrounding.
