The name says it well, that place felt like home every time I was coming back to Kathmandu after doing treks or other adventures in Nepal. The owner is very knowledgable about what to do in Nepal and can give you valuable advices. I highly recommend this place!

Comfy bed in dorm, tasty breakfast included, always hot showers, always clean 😁 I have stayed at Elbrus Home several times now, for prolonged periods. Khem and the guys are always very friendly and make you feel so at home. They are keen to make sure everybody's stay is as comfortable as possible. So when I arrived again this time it felt like I was arriving home. Highly highly recommend 😊

Lovely courtyard, amazing value, exceptional staff. I usually avoid the Thamel area as much as possible, but Elbrus was a game changer. Very friendly and helpful staff.

There isn't anything I didn't like

I loved staying at Elbrus Home! The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the main part of Thamel & there's a lovely view from the rooftop. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable & the breakfasts were plentiful. Khem is also such a friendly guy. He can help with lots of info & even arranges airport pick up/drop off for a small fee.

Super Guesthome hided behind a green and cosy patio, so little protected from the City. It's located 5min North of Thamel, so perfect to stay just nearby the energy of this area. The rooms and beds are super comfy and large, with desk and plugs, enough space to get organised in your trip. The showers are super clean and nearby each room. There is also a terrace at every floor, the view on KTM is amazing !! The owner is all the time there to give any help or manage everything for you. When you need some rest or contacts, just join the patio. Breakfast there in the morning is perfect. You can also leave some luggage there if you don't want to carry it all during a trek. To recommend without hésitation !!

Very friendly hostel and quite comfy beds. Also, the shower has good pressure (difficult to find). They accommodated us in a different room with a private bathroom for the same price as they were fully booked due to the busy period. Moreover, We saw them cleaning all the shared spaces daily. Good place for the price. It is simple and very comfy. Staff is friendly and always with a smile.

Really enjoyed our time here. It is close enough to Thamel whilst still not feeling too hectic and touristy. The garden is lovely - peaceful place to have breakfast. Breakfast was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable and a great hot shower.

The location is very good, close to everything in Thamel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, they really made me feel welcome. The owner, Khem, is a really nice guy and very accommodating. I booked my trekking and other tours through his brother, Prakash, and they were all very well organised. Khem and Prakash both helped to make my time in Nepal very enjoyable.

Rooms could have been cleaner.

Excellent Bfast for what you are paying in total. The location is excellent near Thamel street and central. Well of course for the amount we paid I did not expect a 5* facility or to be as clean as a 5* one but I believe the rooms could be cleaner in general.

For those who really need their Wifi to be perfect, the connection is sometimes weaker in some of the rooms.

The perfect hostel for a stay in Kathmandu, only a walk away from Thamel. Amazing caring staff, lovely breakfast served in the garden and rooftop views for days. I wholeheartedly recommend!

At first moment because of the english fail of comunication about a bus ticket, the owner could be upset and a little rude with me, but I apologized and everything became fine. 🙏🏻

All fabulous!

Staff were so lovely and helpful and the property was amazing. Lovely terraces with great views and very comfortable rooms. The breakfast included is also substantial and delicious - unbelievable value for money. Also great location, a stones throw from the Thamel area but slightly tucked away from the hustle and bustle definitely reccomend.
