On site restaurant and tour desk. All staff were helpful. Tour desk arranged tours with female English speaking guide and driver. Hotel is safe which was important as a single female traveller. Great location

There is construction across the street. This didn’t bother me as it is only going on during the day, but if you want to stay in your room or at the garden during the day you may hear construction sounds.

I loved the charming architecture! The low ceilings and cozy decorations made me feel like I was in a hobbit house. I would definitely return. It’s centrally located but on a quiet side street. Very kind staff and beautiful garden.

Very good hotel, very good value for money. The location is in Thamel but not in the centre of it which is a great advantage because all the prices nearby are lower. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts are very good. The stuff is always around to help. It wasn’t my first stay at that hotel and I’m sure not the last :)

The staff created some confusion while quoting charges for cab for sightseeing and in the end I lost a good amount, more over the cab provided did not do justice to the expectations.

The stay was full value for money, the location was good, facilities were ok with respect to charges. Breakfast was good

The hotel booked us a taxi for the airport, but we didn’t know it couldn’t stop on the way. I had something important to pick up that was a few blocks away and very much in the way, but the taxi driver told me it was a hotel car and hotel policy wouldn’t let them stop. Thus, I spent my final ride in Kathmandu crying in the backseat all the way to the airport, mourning the item I didn’t get to bring home and that I had been searching for over the course of 14 years. Extremely disappointing, but a very isolated experience compared to the rest of our stay.

This was one of the best places we stayed our entire trip through India and Nepal. The staff were extremely helpful, and even held our stuff while we trekked. Had I known they booked tours ahead of time I would have done so through them. Beautiful, unique rooms (we stayed in two of them between two different visits). Also very satisfactory breakfast included.

Was nice to have breakfast included, but set breakfast and just ok quality. Slightly awkward to get to because of some maintenance work and cars can only get up the main road (less than a minute walk). That said, the staff helped with our bags to get our taxi!

Big, room, clean bathroom, fairly central location (10 mins to Thamel and Durbar Square), good value for money, cute building, not too noisy, airport transport options available.

Location is perfect, walking distance to Durbar square. Staff are super helpful, special thanks to Sujal and Binod who made my stay easier. They arranged my tours, transportation to Pokhara and even my hotel there.

The roof is very low and the stairs are steep leading up to the rooms.

Perfect location between Durbar Square and Thamel. Off the main street so it is nice and quiet. The WiFi worked well and the breakfast was yummy. Big rooms.

We tried 2 rooms and in both of them the bottom part of the rooms menu was cut and it is the part where they indicate the 10% service charge. So they hide this information on rooms menu. The last night the people in the opposite room turned on the music to max volume, and I had to get up and search for the guardian. I did not find anyone and ended up knocking twice to ask them to stop. The second time I had to be agressive to get what I wanted, I would have like the staff to at least apologies for the disturbance. Finaly the first room had a shower located half outside, so it was really cold. At the end it's still a good hotel, I just precise everything.

Nice big and clean rooms. Friendly staff and helpful manager. The hotel is well located and offers a very nice restaurant with tasty food for reasonable prices. We ended up coming back in this place when we came back in Katmandou. Good price for the quality !

I was given a bigger room than the room which i booked for. The bathroom was very small and disappointing as there was no space to move around. The 2nd day there was no hot water , so Binod assisted in changing the room to a better room ( 2 Single bed) with hot water.

Lovely property, lovely sitting area for breakfast. Binod assisted me to keep my luggage in the hotel while i was going away for 3 days from KTM. The staff are very polite and helpful. Lovely quiet place and felt so comfortable with the property.

Sunflower is so welcoming! Good location, clean, spacious with a lovely outside communal area. You simply cannot complain with how reasonably it is priced! We returned for a second visit as we felt so comfortable :) the breakfast staff are so lovely too
