Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomSuch a lovely and relaxing hotel. The location is just a little bit away from the noisier town centre (but still within easy walking distance) and the garden is visited by many different birds. We really enjoyed our welcome walk on the first evening, where we saw our first rhino! We also enjoyed all the freshly prepared food, and the lychee from the garden.

SlovakiaWe stayed 3 nights in the hotel and there was nothing to complain about. The hotel is in very quiet area with beatiful garden and in easy walking distance from the city centre. Owner was very helpful and arranged safari tour for us for reasonable price. Our guide "B" was excellent- very nice, knowledgeable and nature-loving person. Ask for him when taking a tour. :) Rhino Land Hotel is good value for money.

United KingdomBeing a small business they close the gates which I was unaware of so was late back one night and they had to keep them open for me 😬
Raj was super helpful and I'm sure the man never stops! Refillable water station and book swap are a nice touch. 20 minute (if that) walk from town centre, and some other nice restaurants and stuff close by - really great location for national park. Excursions were easily organised and very well planned. Cold beers! Small favours like driving you from bus station and arranging tuks tuks are plentiful. Nice to have a short walking introduction to the surroundings and the park on arrival.

SpainI highly recommend to stay here! The accomodation is good value and located in a quieter part of town. Raj and his staff really went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They also offer a variety of Tours that I found to be very professional and interesting with great Guides. They dont offer elephant riding Tours, which is also very good. Thank you for everything!

United StatesNothing, I had a great stay.
Hotel Rhino Land is like a home away from home. Raj takes great care of his guests, from picking them up at the bus station, to offering a free welcome walk, and helping with everything they need. One night, he even drove me to see a rhino that was walking through town! The property is a short walk from town, quiet, and set in a lovely garden. I definitely recommend staying with Raj and his family.

United StatesShower could drain a little better but no big deal.
Raj takes excellent care of this property as it is also his families home. The rooms are kept very clean. Staff have limited English but very helpful. A nice garden is just outside your room. This location is QUIET(rare for nepal). Fair prices for activities. I would recommend the walking safari.

NetherlandsThe bathroom needs some fixing. And the WiFi is basically useless.
Inexpensive hotel with a great host. Raj offers very well-priced safaris (and he will help his guests to form larger groups to e.g. rent a private jeep). The quality of the guides that he uses seems to be very high. He'll also pick you up and drive you around Sauraha.

ItalyReally nice and adventurous trip to Sauraha! Nice accomodation and people met there. The owner helped us to organize all the safari activities, without overcharging and brought us everywhere by jeep and motorcycle. Because of Raj, we could see lots more of Rhinos walking trough the village, dooing kind of private safari with him. So everything was well done. Thank you.

United KingdomWe had to leave
Within an hour of checking in, there were 2 Rhino's walking the streets. The staff was spot on. The price is outstanding. We booked Tours through Raj. I was expecting that due to the low price of the room that the hotel would try and claw back some of the cost through the tours. This isn't the case. Was excellent prices. So glad I didn't book a packagaed trip.they would of cost allot more. also hot water on demand which sound like a basic but travelling India prior to trip really isn't.

Netherlands-
The owner of Hotel Rhino Land made our stay amazing!! They organize all different kind of jungle tours in the hotel with really good tour guides (B, thanks for the amazing tours!!) and they ask a really reasonable price. They bring you everywhere and also pick you up when you are ready with the trip. We also had a pickup/drop off from and to the busstation in Sauraha. The owner does everything to make your stay comfortable and above all memorable. One morning we just ordered breakfast and then he came to us and told us that there was a rhino walking on the streets. We jumped in his car and drove there to see the rhino chilling in the street. A really nice experience. The rooms are big and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and airconditioning. There is a nice garden with enough place to relax and read a book. Thanks for our amazing stay!!
