Aachen house is beautiful and has everything you need. Close to the city but in a quiet location. We found it very quick to get around. We stayed in the Orchid room. It was large and beautiful, we couldn't ask for more. Linda was great and very helpful. We would recommend this accommodation. Bonus points for parking!

Location is fantastic - easy to get into city centre, also to reach from airport. Shops and restaurants/takeaways easily walkable. Spacious room with very comfortable bed, good size bathroom. Fridge to keep breakfast items in, use of kitchen to make breakfast.

Exceptional location, quiet, close to station 5 minutes to central Auckland and yet a buzzing friendly ‘village’ atmosphere. Newly refurbished, large rooms, huge kitchen area - plenty of local cafes for breakfast if wanted.

Didn't find anything that we didn't like!

Location was perfect for a concert at Eden Park as the train station was a very short walk away, then a quick change at Newmarket. House was beautifully restored and exceptionally clean with new white quality towels and bed linen. Our spacious bedroom had an extremely comfortable bed (king size?) and a lovely large bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Ample tea and coffee supplies provided with a fridge and kettle. We didn't need to make use of the kitchen/dining/lounge areas downstairs which are available to guests but they look great, as does the garden. The owner couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and obviously takes great pride in all the work he has done to make this a lovely place to stay. Would love to revisit someday.

We enjoyed the view and aroma of a garden. Room was spacious with a big bed and a big bathroom. The place was quiet so we got a quality sleep.

This is a lovely large historic house with parking and garden. It is not in the center of the city, but the train is 1 block away and offers quick (15 minutes) and inexpensive trip right to the CBD. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable. There is in-room heat/air-con that you can control. Bath was large and well equipped with tub and separate shower. Towels were fluffy and new.

Absolutely nothing!

Beautiful ambiance. Lovely backgarden with a gazebo to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing morning, afternoon, or evening. Breakfast table with umbrella outside, too. Or an airy, well-lit conservatory to eat in. Hosts who cared for us like we've never been cared for before, other than by family, yet invisible but available when needed.

There was nothing we didn't like it is amazing. We couldn't fault anything.

Everything was clean and the owner was the best. She was so helpful when our taxi didn't turn up. She even offered to take us if she couldn't get us a taxi. The house is amazing they have thought of everything. Will definitely be back in the future. Would highly recommend them. Such lovely people.

Only niggle was the hot water takes a while to come through, but hey the house was built in 1920s, more than made up for in comfortable beds, nice new AC units, great hosts, and luxury decor.

Awesome hosts and amazing house / building, felt like going back in time and living the high life, but at cheaper than Air Bnb prices. Seriously this place needs more business as it is amazing.

Beautifully renovated property, the rooms were super clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds, very welcoming owners and the location was perfect for our concert at Mt Smart Stadium. We will definitely stay again.
