Some noise from the next unit - not a problem but not soundproofed

Great location reasonably close to airport, modern and very clean. Very little road noise.

Need more toilet paper we had to go and buy some. Need tongs, tea towels and oven mits in the kitchen but apart from that it was good.

Great location, easy access, great communication, no surprises when we arrived. The place was nice and clean. I would recommend it to others for short stays because it's so close to the airport and shops with a bus stop just outside the gate.

Everything! Ideal bolthole before or after a flight, lovely simple clean newly renovated motel that does exactly what you need for an airport stay. Everything one needs for a short stay. easy access, lovely helpful owners, highly recommended.

Need a bathroom bin. Mirror would be good in the room. (Room 1, two bedroom) Noisy guests - not the owners fault but we had guests next door smoking pot outside their room and in the shared carpark. Not an issue for me, but I was travelling with my 14yr old. Thankfully we were not there long enough during the day to put up with it. I'm not a smoker, but perhaps empty ashtrays on the table outside or remind guests to use their own outdoor area. Just minor stuff to improve but otherwise great place to stay.

This is our second stay. Great location and close to where we need to be. Excellent parking. Rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable chairs, beds and dinner table. We stayed in room 1 this time, closer to the road so if you don't like too much traffic it will bother you because this is on a main road. They have recycle and rubbish bins outside and safe parking out your door. Lots of shops, eateries within walking distance ie McDonalds and BP station, Supermarket down the road and takeaways...also 5 min drive either way to Papatoetoe (night market) Otara and Mangere markets on Saturdays. We were commuting back and forth from Botany, Onehunga, Manukau, Newmarket and Titirangi - very easy access to motorways and to the airport. First choice for my family if you don't need to be based in Auck CBD. Safe, convenient and value for money. Also, lovely hosts who we met on our first visit, didn't see them this time.

No need to check in. I guess we hadn't realized until we got there that this is more like an air bnb or a book a bach than it seemed like a motel, as there was no office or staff present (I think). This could have been a bit clearer when booking just so people know what to expect. It might have been mentioned and I didn't notice though as I was looking through loads of possible places.

Well located for the airport. Clean and comfortable. Marked down slightly because glasses, crockery etc. were a bare minimum. For example, there were beer glasses but no wine glasses. The property is on a busy road but as the rear unit the 3 bedroom villa was peaceful and road noise was not an issue. Close to a supermarket if you need to shop.

Some bread plates in the kitchen would be helpful. Can hear noises at night.

Nice and tidy place, owner was very helpful. He even lets us to check in early and leave our car at parking whole day.

The garden area at back of unit and around all the units needs a good mow and weed trim/spray, rubbish removal. Could be a much nicer space if this was attended to. Would be great to have a drier in unit and a couple of extra lounge chairs.

Very spacious 3 bedroom unit at rear of property with plenty of room for everyone. Nice to have outdoor area at the back. Handy to have extra toilet with a family staying. Very clean and tidy.

Could have a park for kids to play and safety gates so kids can't get out.

What could have been better? Another chair or two in the living room, more than one tea towel, oven gloves.

Ali Motel gave us everything we needed. Kitchen equipment was enough (although oven gloves would have been good), furnishings were good if minimal. Beds were very comfortable, shower was very good, having two toilets is handy for more than two guests, good tv.

The ease of getting to the airport. The bathroom was excellent, the bed comfortable, the kitchen basic but functional. There were takeaway places very nearby.

It's very loud, particularly as it's off a main road. Vehicles driving by with very loud bassy speakers was a bit annoying for trying to sleep - but that's of no fault to the owners.

The owner was awesome, he was so lovely! Beds were super comfortable as well!

It was a well equipped comfortable apartment with extremely friendly, trustworthy staff, I completely forgot my earring that were a 21st gift from my in laws as they were accidentally covered with a towel, and before I even realised I’d left them behind I got a message that I’d left them and they had stored them extremely safe and even went the extra mile and put them in packaging to make sure they didn’t get damaged. Would 1000% stay again 😊
