Room was run down, cob webs, mold and water damage in bathroom, extremely uncomfortable sofas in lounge (springs), pool closed, spa was cold.

Spacious and location

A little hot due to the summer weather and the sun hitting the room in the afternoon. There were fans available in the room but that only did so much. It seems like it is a big place and may not be the glory that it used to be. Staff are working really hard to keep up with demand but appear to be a little short handed. They tried really hard to be responsive when we asked for things. The pool was not clean when we got there but they were working on it. There may be other areas of the accommodation that are a but run down.

We read some reviews after booking which made us very nervous about what we would find on arrival. These reviews were a bit too harsh. It was a nice place with facilities to be able to cook your own meals. It was clean and house keeping came around daily. The section we stayed in was fairly recently done. It was clean and comfortable.

Pool is not working. Which one of the reasons we booked tha place. The children's slide should be maintained properly. I saw some nails sticking out and needs a clean. Facilities needs to be updated like the playroom.

Bathroom was moldy. Freezer was dirty. Beds were hard. Staff were rude. Pool was closed even tho it says it was only going to be closed until the 29th Feb. Spa was cold.

Sadly the pool walls are green with algae and the ladder to exit requires gymnastic abilities. The rooms was very tired with badly scuffed Lino and walls but well cleaned when you look past the marks. Access to parking is a bit bumpy, not a problem with careful driving.

Large pool with clear water. Good facilities in kitchen. Lovely grounds and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed with plenty of fresh clean linen. Towels replaced frequently.

There were a number of problems with the maintenance / standard of cleanliness. The lock to our main entrance couldn't be locked from the outside, and in spite of promises made by the manager it still hadn't been fixed 4 days later - we had to lock the door from inside, go out of the back door (which couldn't be opened from outside) and exit via a rickety staircase to the ground floor and a unlit passage to get to the front of the property and access to the parking/drive. The pool, spa and laundry were all out of action. The beds weren't made properly - a sheet on the bottom, then mismatched old quilts of dubious state, covered by another crisp white sheet on top to make it look good; so to be able to sleep between 2 good sheets we had to leave the room looking not nearly as good. The floors all looked clean when we arrived but on closer inspection the lino floors in the kitchen area and bathroom had only been swept, not cleaned - there were tea/coffee stains on the floor and dried muddy puddles.

The motel was in a good location, with views over a nearby bay from some apartments.

Cleanliness, the bed, as it fell off its legs on one side, the couch was hard and very unfriendly to sit on, the shower floor was black, the cold tap in the bath room screetched when you turned it on and did not work until it was on full, which then sprayed on to you, the whole place was dated and old.

Location was nice, friendly and quiet.

Bbq and stove oven need a good clean. There were no frying pans so we had to use the baking dish for bacon and eggs. Milk was not provided. The place needs an overhaul and updating eg air conditioner instead of fans, a sturdy bed setee.
