Simple property with a comfortable bed and smart TV. Not too far to walk into town, either. The bathroom was really good size and finished well Staff were really nice, too! Finally, in the room you couldn’t smell the sulphur, which is important in Rotorua

Air con kept making buzzing noise. They have tried to update the place but there is still a bit of work to be done. Like putting in new doors and windows as they are old and dirty

Only two things to critique. My room was directly under the stairs for the second story units, which made getting in to the room a bit harder. The lining on the shower floor has come up a little, feels uncomfortable pushing around air bubbles while showering.

Beds and pillows were comfortable, the kitchen was sleek and clean. The armchairs were also comfortable. Staff were polite, no mucking around at check-in/check-out. The room is massive, with wnough space to invite my family over for a quick meal. The rooms have decent soundproofing. I will stay here again

Just how exposed it is to the road. The toilet may need an update. Could hear everything above us so maybe better soundproofing but its alguds. It is what it is.

Good room. The beds were massive. Best motel bed iv ever slept on. If you're a big person like me, the matress held my weight no sweat. The room, kitchen and bathroom was clean and tidy. Good supply of everything. Parking was awesome as well. Heaps of space on both sides of the truck. Its the small things that matter to big people like me.

I didnt have a car to travel around, its a mile from town so relied on local buses, not a major issue as they run regular, just takes a little planning.

Room was clean, good shower, good wifi. Very quiet location. Would definitely recommend.

Nice, spacious and comfortable room with everything I needed. Very clean and tidy! Good communication - they were quick to respond to messages. Check in was easy. Good location for Tarawera - I could walk to Te Puia for the start.

NA. Exceeded expectations.

Well appointed motel unit and tastefully refurbished. The kitchen are has everything you need including a hob. Spacious bedroom and living area. I was expecting some street noise given the proximity to Fenton St but it was nice and quiet overnight. Walkable to town if you want too.

The room we were in had a window with no curtain in the kitchen which caused the room to heat up way too much.

Could maybe do with a blind on the kitchen window for those super sunny days which we were lucky to experience.

Location was great for our purpose. We were driving to the Lakes so it being at the further end of Fenton Street was ideal. The street it is on the corner on is lovely and nice and quiet. The parking was good too as we had a jet ski with us and they were very accommodating.

My room looked like someone started to renovate it but went away before finishing the job. Half a shelf in bathroom is missing, bathroom door is really poorly constructed: you can see through huge gaps on the sides and opening it fully bends the doorknob. The studio was clean on the surface only. Dishes in kitchen stained from previous guests. There are no hooks on the walls to put stuff, except for one wall in closet. Lots of single use soap and shampoo.

Staff was very friendly, location was as good as Rotorua gets, contrary to other reviews, my connection with WiFi was remarkably fast and steady.

Room service was half done and noise comming from the back of the property late every night.Not enough parking at times.

Size of the room was impressive and the slightly old style decor was pleasing.

Not so much a criticism of the accommodation but of Booking.com - the motel's account and/or the secure messaging function was compromised and I was sent scam messages that could have resulted in me losing a lot of money from my credit card. It's not a new issue, based on Googling around; please look into fixing this!

Very handy location; just a few minutes drive from the city centre and all the restaurants, shops and supermarkets located there. Facilities were clean, tidy and comfortable; the rooms have evidently been renovated not so long ago, the more modern amenities on offer as a result were appreciated. Staff were helpful.
