Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaWe had our stay in what they call the courtyard view. This is extremely misleading as it is a car park view. This was so disappointing as we were really looking forward to our stay here. Unfortunately due to this we did not spend much time at the accommodation

NetherlandsWe personally felt it lacked a bit of atmosphere in the hotelbar at night. Also, we stayed there during NYE, and we were a little bit surprised nothing was organized at midnight. We didn’t expect anything big obviously, just maybe a glass of bubbels to say cheers. Just as a gesture maybe ;) But service at the hotel was very good, same as the whole staff!
The restaurant, by far. The food was very good, highly recommend eating there while staying at Kamana.

The view, absolutely stunning. The staff were very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. We were concerned the location would have been too far away, but courtesy driver to town was wonderful and the bus was a short ride and very easy to use.

MexicoLack of variety for breakfast. Wanted to try some plates without spice and weren’t possible. Onsen on site pools should have a special price for guests that already paid a fair price. They charge the same amount as a professional on sen pools with massage included. Not easy to move around if you don’t have a car. Must take bus to go up and down, each way 4 nz dlls.
Great views and front row room was comfortable, has all you need. Andrea at the front desk was very polite and kind.

Everything. Comfortable and clean. On the pricier end, but worth it. It's located a short 5 minute drive from the city centre but it was perfect for what we wanted. Quite and relaxing. There are some shops 1 minute walk away, must try the fish and chips, chur. Dinner @ nest was excellent, and we definitely recommend trying.
